However, it seems it falls in the marble family or soft quartzite? I'm not really sure what the difference is and it's labeled differently depending where you look. I would never consider marble for a kitchen, but the slabs I'm considering have been treated with Azerocare. I can't find much information or reviews as it's a fairly new thing. I would like to hear feedback on Azerocare and/or Corteccia as a choice before I invest thousands of dollars. Here is the slab... Thank you! A: That flaking snd glittering is exactly what my client experienced. Such a shame. A total sham. **Q: Need to finalize curtain (motorized) for large window** *(in Design Dilemma)* Our master bedroom has a large door/window with beautiful views outside. We decided to have a motorized curtain for convenience and also for decorative purpose. This is the best feature of our house and the only thing that husband really cares. He wants complete blackout because he cannot sleep well if there is light. Dimensions: Window: 144" Wall-to-wall - 230" After multiple discussions, we decided to go for wall-to-wall curtain. The curtain is being made by a workroom quite far from where I am. I've just placed an order for the curtain track, motor etc with a local window company with wall-to-wall dimensions. But, told them to hold off on ordering the curtain track just so I can I confirm the width one more time. Here is my dilemma with different options: Option 1: If I go wall-to-wall, the curtain stacks on the wall to the sides, but exposes around 10" of wall on either side of the window when open. Will this look odd? The curtain fabric is plain, almost the same color as the wall. The material is linen, poly blend with blackout lining. Option 2: Have the rod width that equals: window length + stackback on either side. Once the curtain is actually done, there is a potential that the window might be covered a little (which we don't want). In this option, the wall will be exposed outside of the curtain. Option 3: Go wall-to-wall, but have additional pleats at the end that will stay stacked stationary, just to avoid blank wall space next to the window. Both the curtain workroom and the hardware company are really good and I feel very comfortable with them. This whole thing costs $$$$, and I'm worried about making wrong choice. Which is a better option? Am I missing anything else? Please share your thoughts. Thanks a lot. A: Remember, there will be light leak above the drapery unless you do it all the way to the ceiling or do a cornice over drape. **Q: What window coverings would you use in this living room?** *(in Design Dilemma)* What kind of window coverings would you use in this living room? A: I would not block the view of the back yard and pool with shutters. I would use roller shades in a modern fabric or something like Silhouettes or a similar product that completely rolls up and disappears when coverings are not needed during the day. Top down bottom up shades like abbyjean (above) mentioned would work too. As far as shutters go...Faux wood shutters are not necessarily less money. Sometimes they cost more depending on your supplier. And the composite are so heavy and can sag over time. The Vinyl shutters usually don't hold up well and some of the shutter components degrade with extreme UV rays down south where we are located. I am always getting people asking if we can repair them. I don't sell them. **Q: Where are the wave tiles in shower from?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Try Porcelanosa Ona White Matte. Just beautiful. **Q: What is the window covering?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: No. They are made of grasses, reeds and sometimes little matchsticks. Definitely not for a shower enclosure! **Q: Could Repose Gray be used in a low light room?** *(in Photo Questions)* The window is kind of small and the room faces south east - mostly east. There are a lot of shadows, and it gets kind of dark in the afternoon. Would this paint color look dingy? We don't have ceiling molding and our ceiling is 8 feet high. Our floors honey colored and our furniture is a a medium reddish oak. I want the same bright, clean, look that you achieved. Any help appreciated! Thanks.
