> We had a relatively small project, to enhance the façade and front yard of our home, updating it from it's early 50's beginnings and drab vinyl siding look.  We contacted Jesse after finding his pictures on Houzz, and he insisted that no job was too small.  After a consultation, we agreed on a design fee, and met at our house with a landscaper who interfaced very well with Jesse and ourselves.  For a reasonable cost, Jesse put together a design plan and worked with the landscaper to fulfill the vision.  A few adjustments were needed along the way and we were accommodated nicely.  Jesse is very knowledgeable, patient, and has a great aesthetic.  We'd recommend him to anyone.

**Q: I love the stone basin for your fountain - where did you find it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This stone basin is called Zenigata. I got this from my local Japanese garden store but you can find them online as well. There are granite stone which was chiseled or cheaper one in concrete. Here is a link for you to see different type of basin.

**Q: Keeping bamboo fence that color** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi, I have a bamboo fence in my yard. We used a treated roll of bamboo for it. However, mold still grew on it and it is not this pretty color anymore =(  Is there a different bamboo product we should get or do we have to treat it regularly with bleach?

**Q: rain chains** *(in Photo Questions)*

what exactly is a rain chain? I live in Australia, and this idea is not anything common here.  Is it decorative, or functional? I am interested to know. thanks

A: I would go for something more exciting and closer to primary colors. Also, depends on which direction the door is facing Clay Red color could look faded from the sun. Try to get some swatches of color and tape them on the gray siding. Don't put the sample colors too close to each other. You want to see each one only with the gray siding, not comparing with each other.

**Q: Where can I buy the fountain and the bamboo spout?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It is a custom piece but you can start with Bamboo Accents 36-in. Traditional Spout and Pump Fountain Kit from internet. Even Amazon.com has this fountain kit. 
I purchased the granite water basin from my local Japanese nursery but you can also purchase from internet as well. There is a hidden pool of water underneath for the water circulation. I also found this from the internet. Atlantic Water Gardens Fountain Basin. Fountain Basin - 32" - the strongest and best-designed fountain basin on the market, featuring deep plumbing channels on top of the basin and easy access to the pump. After installing the underground pool and the pump, cover it with a plastic mesh protector. The holes should be smaller than the pebble or gravel you need to cover around the granite water basin.
