They took our objectives (make the house lighter and more modern) and ran with them, coming up with concepts to raise ceilings upstairs and add skylights, add a gorgeous nanawall door that improved flow to backyard.

A: Hi Owenjames98,
I checked with the owner for you.  She says, "As for the lighting, the stairwell fixture is an antique, so there's not another one like it readily available to my knowledge. The one at the entry probably could be obtained. I bought both of them at Nowell's Antique Lighting in San Rafael \[CA.\] (formerly of Sausalito, which is where I bought the stairwell fixture.)

**Q: How high are the ceilings in this basement?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi.  Ceiling heights are 8'-8" in this room.

**Q: Paint inquiry** *(in Photo Questions)*

Besides the blue walls within the dormer is the rest of the room white?  Is it the same white on the straight walls and ceiling?  I would love to see a picture of the room from a different angle.  I am at a loss on what color(s) to paint my dormered bedroom!

A: I believe all the walls are the same color, flat or eggshell.  I think they are more of a sand color than blue.  The blue tint to the walls is the window covering coloring the light from outdoors.  The ceiling and cabinetry are a semigloss white.  I hope this helps.
