I was told that 4" reveal creates too many shadow lines. Would a 6" reveal be acceptable if I was going for a Williamsburg colonial look or perhaps 5". thank you. I live in New York. Simple house with 4 windows on front (8 over 8) A: Thanks for contacting us. A 5" or 6" reveal is best for the exact reason you mentioned.
