Read the reviews before purchasing from them. We had a contractor measure our beam and sent those measurements for our purchase. What they do not tell you on the screen where you place your order is that if you are buying a faux beam to cover an existing beam you have to check specifications to see how much to add to cover that beam. Why can't they simply put next to the place where you click to order, "Check specifications if you are covering an existing beam". Or why can't they do the math for you and just add the additional inches when you send in the measurements for the beam you wish to cover with their product? We wasted over $700 because of the huge shipping fees and they won't take any responsibility for this problem. I am disgusted with this company and terrible customer relations. I spent almost $4000 and quickly they took it from my CC.. > Everything went perfect from the order to the delivery. I got a call from the delivery people said that it was going to arrive in 2 days. In the meantime, I had installed the plywood for the backing that was told I needed to glue panels.. delivery on time as promised. > I opened the first box and I sank.. totally the wrong colors.. I called and again the lady was very helpful and told me that she would see if she couldn't it get fixed and was going to have it ship in a 2 week turn around.. > May 28th.. I waited 3 weeks and called back, funny I got the same lady.. she tells me that she couldn't have said that because she's needing pictures.. so I sent some to her.. she said she would get right on it.. > June 19th.. I called and she said that they wanted to pickup all the materials.. I ordered a sample and it looked pretty good so I placed the order for over $4,000 to cover our vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom. The panels delivered were 3 shades darker than the sample. Bummer. But it gets worse - The interlocking joint(s) between the panels is so poorly made that the panels do not fit tightly together. I'd have to take each panel and cut down the edges to get them to fit together snugly and look like real boards. In addition the recommended caulking does not even come close to matching the "unfinished" color of the panels. Now the worst part: NO RETURNS. Had I known, I would never ordered. And you could never tell how bad the panels fit together because they are about 3 feet wide by 5 feet long - the sample is 8 inches by 8 inches. I ended up getting engineered hardwood for 65% LESS than the fake panels from Faux panels. Rather than "patch & paint", decided to upgrade curb-appeal by installing FauxPanels "Norwich Colorado Stacked Stone". End result is FANTASTIC, with universal compliments from Neighbors & my Homeowner's Association. If you are good at working with wood, very easy to install, once you get the hang of how to lay-out sections attractively & efficiently. Customer service is OUTSTANDING!!! They answer the phones (without long "hold", have live chat, answer questions, provide advice, have instructional videos. By installing this myself, I save over 50% $$ vs. using "real" stacked stone & a mason to install (installing stacked stone is much more difficult & messy, so I don't do it). I will use FauxPanels for many more projects in the future. Once caution . . . FauxPanels are beautiful, but made of a softer material, so will get damaged if banged, gouged, mistreated. The picture online made the product look more realistic then the actual pieces I received. Also, the corner pieces are thicker then the brick and would look funny even if I used them. I tried to return the corners and they will not allow any type of return on them. My reasoning for the return seems pretty valid. It's disappointing when you spend thousands of dollars on a company's products and they have customer service like this. I am 10 days later and my sales rep does not return my calls; my project is behind schedule. Over the past 10 days I have called 13 times and cannot get ANY customer service.
