Casual Kitchen & Bath Design is full-service interior design studio specializing in Remodel, Interior Design & Project Management. We understand that every project is different.  Every budget is different.  Every client is different.  That is why we cater our process to each client. Our passion for design and the desire to transform your daily life is our driving force. Whether the project is traditional, modern, new construction, remodel, or purely decorative, CKB creates a space with a fresh perspective that reflects your personality and desires.
After designing for clients for well over two decades, we think that a simplified process works best for us and our clients, giving them the best overall results. We use a three-step process, which allows our clients to sit back and relax over the course of their project and trust that it will be completed to their satisfaction, while still maintaining the budget.

Founder Nancy LaPorte combines a deep knowledge of design and construction with a strong desire to help her clients enhance their home. She earned her M.B.A. from Widener University & has worked in the kitchen business since 1988. After working for one of the largest kitchen and bath distributors in the Tri-State area, she established her own design firm. Nancy has worked on a variety of Projects. From Kitchens and Bathrooms to other rooms such as laundry, office, mudroom, garage & Bars. She is experienced in all aspects of the design, from the space planning & redesigning of a home to the paint, fabric & accessory selections. Nancy knows that no two jobs are alike and is eager to embrace her clients’ individual needs. 

Cassidy Harrigan - Designer, loves creating well-balanced, refined spaces that fit the specific needs and functionality for her clients. Our Clients appreciate her attention to detail that flows through every aspect of the design process. Cassidy Works side by side with Nancy to oversee CKB’s daily operations. She earned a Degree in Interior Design which gives her a well-trained eye for quality, craftsmanship, furnishings and textiles. Coming from the furniture business, she has been able to fuse her creative knowledge of the textile industry with her kitchen & bath designs, making for a unique yet practical design experience.

Can you please tell me the countertop material?  Is it Arabescato Quartz?

A: Yes you are correct! It certainly is Arabescato Quartz. With the gray finish on the island, it was the perfect compliment.

no question ~~ but I love what you did with that marble on the side

A: Thank you. We were trying to achieve a look that blended with all the antiques this client had in the Master suite.
