> My husband and I hired Stonegate Construction for an renovation to our 1917 home based on recommendations of friends and after interviewing several other local design-build firms. We had two toddlers at the time and lived in the house through the extensive renovation that touched nearly every room in the house -- we added a master bedroom and bath, a second smaller bedroom, and central A/C, and removed and rebuilt 75% of the original roof to add a finished space in the attic. The only room that was not affected by the project was the kitchen.
> Ten years after our first renovation, when we decided it was time to tackle the kitchen, Stonegate was the first and only firm we called.
> Throughout both projects, Alex, Jeff and their team were conscientious and courteous. They always made sure we knew what was happening each step of the way and were happy with the results. When we insisted on making non-conventional decisions, they made sure we knew the pros and cons of our choices but then found ways to make it work and work well. For example, instead of the ubiquitous granite, we now have a beautiful heart pine counter-top that adds warmth and character to our kitchen. And when my husband and I came to Alex with the idea of hanging a sliding "barn door" panel instead of a conventional swing door to cover a pantry shelf, he embraced the idea and made it happen. It is now one of the signature features of our house.

> We hired Stonegate for two projects, and have been so pleased with our choice.   Our first project included two-bedroom addition and kitchen renovation.  We were so impressed with their work that we went back four years later to have them help us with an interior renovation of a very tight spot, which gave us a beautiful laundry room, guest bathroom, and a new bathroom for the kids.  During both projects, Alex Post was wonderful to work with.  His patience in listening  to our needs and helping us get the right design resulted in the the perfect living space for our growing family.   Jeff Lutman and Keith Stratton, who were here daily getting the work done, consulted with us every step of the way, keeping us apprised on progress and problems.  I felt like we were a team working together to achieve what what WE wanted, not what they thought we should have. > We hired Stonegate in 2011 for two primary bathroom remodels, in 2012 for a bonus room renovation and in 2013 for a complete kitchen renovation including moving walls. From the beginning Alex Post immediately established a thorough assessment of the various project needs. He offered innovative solutions to design aspects both to maximize utility of space and for optimum modern functionality and luxurious appeal. He brought together a very talented team giving us opportunity to frequently review design considerations with the cabinet designer, and the construction project manager. The combined experience and level of professionalism of this team is one of the reasons we immediately felt comfortable to begin our working relationship with Stonegate.

Do you know the width of the floor between the front of the tub and the front of the vanity? Thanks!

A: The floor is about 40" from cabinet front to tub panel front.

**Q: Panty sliding door hardware** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi, I am trying to make a sliding barn door for my pantry, but I can't find one that is 4 foot.  Are they easy to make?  Thank you

A: Hi Susanna,  that whole cabinet and doors were custom made in the field.  Try a local lumber yard other than a big box store.  They should be able to order whatever you want.

A: This shower is approximately 47" x 45".

**Q: What a beautiful color on the cabinets. What color is this?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: These are Shiloh cabinets.  the paint color is Arctic with Slate Glaze on maple.

**Q: love the porch.  what kind of fireplace did you use? like the molding.** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This is a Heat & Glo Carolina model.  There are very few propane fireplaces made for outside applications.

Where can I purchase the light?

A: I am sorry I do not know much about it.  Our customer aquired that fixture herself.  I believe that it is a refurbished antique.
