Nate was very thorough in all stages of construction, and I was always kept in the loop as to what was going on. It was refreshing to have a contractor listen, remember and follow through on our ideas. This construction was more of a process, figuring out what we wanted as we went along, resulting in frequent changes which did not seem to faze the team. Nate and his wife, Kristi Grabil, helped us select materials and colors, everything from tile, carpet, paint, lights etc. Our Westcliffe Home was completed on time with attention to detail by a competent team of subcontractors. Ryan was always available to answer questions or concerns. Our house turned out much more beautiful than we expected! I would highly recommend this construction company. This was the most refreshing contracting company that I have ever worked with; personable, reliable, competent, honest and with the highest level of integrity in building. They did an awesome job! Having never built a new home, I was very nervous about what to do. A friend of mine recommended that I build a concrete home. Not knowing where to even begin, she recommended Nate Grabill of Pioneer West Homes. After looking at some of his work and his website, I asked him if he would be interested in building an ICF home for me. Since I live in New Mexico and he was in Colorado, I wasn't sure if he would even consider it, because of the distance involved. He agreed to do it, and I am forever grateful. His subcontractors were very good. I had a few issues with one of them, but Nate made sure they did the job right and I was very happy with the outcome. There was one instance where I didn't pay attention to the plans and I needed, what I considered a drastic change, made after the framing had started. I was afraid to even mention it , but I got the courage up to approach Nate and after looking it over, he assured me that it could be done. I was so pleased! Any time I had any questions or wanted something added, they were so good to accommodate me. A whole house fan is installed as well as a whole house humidifier because of the all the wood throughout the house and the fact that we live in a very dry climate. It's as though Nate thought of everything. The house is now complete, but they scheduled a one month walk through and a 6 month walkthrough in order to address issues that they knew about and to see if I had come upon anything that they might have missed. How awesome is that?!!! Yes, very professional, very good work, and very accommodating to my needs. I would highly recommend Pioneer West Homes to anyone building a new home.
