> Scotia Stairs is a unique and amazing company that provided us parts for an open white oak stair case whose elegant craftsmanship and beauty has evoked many local architects and designers to compliment us on the design and quality of finish. They crafted thick long span laminated treads and stringers from white oak and supplied the associated rails and balusters at a price that could not be matched anywhere and quality that was better than expected. We were able to specify custom design and receive quality feedback immediately.

> We live in a home that was built in 1805.  We had restored and remodelled 90% of the home ... One major draw back was the terrible condition that our main staircase leading to the bedrooms was in.  After trying to strip a couple stair treads to see if they were salvagable ... I soon realized that all was lost.  I started my search to locate QUALITY stair treads and risers that I could EASILY cover my existing staircase in ... After an extensive search I noticed that alot of the replacement stair treads on the market were a thin layer of veneer applied over an inferior quality lumber,
> I came across the Scotia Stair Web Site.  I was amazed that I was able to buy SOLID OAK stair treads for less than the price of most of the veneer treads that I had been looking at...  I ordered the treads and risers and received them within 5 business days.  AWESOME ... I precut and dry fitted all of the treads and risers and stained and finished the treads and risers to match my existing hardwood floors.  The job was completed within a  week and the outcome is nothing short of amazing.  The revitalized stairwell is absolutely beautiful.
