We had already contracted to a cabinet manufacturer when I found Atlantis on Houzz. After seeing David's kitchens, I was disappointed that I already had signed a contract with another cabinet manufacturers because David also does custom cabinetry imported from Italy, so be sure to ask him to show you his work. David recommended the stone sourcing company and met us at the site to choose our slabs. We had a particular look and finish in mind, and had already determined what we wanted. We thought we were firm on honed, Calcutta Marble, but when David showed us our options and talked about our design for the backsplash, he suggested a lighter marble with a gold thread running through the slab for warmth. His experience with stone definitely helped as we would have chosen the wrong thickness for our job. His measurements are precise and he came back to the house a few times to confirm once the cabinets were completed and at various stages of the job prior to cutting. As my husband and I managed the kitchen Reno ourselves rather than hiring a general contractor, we certainly appreciated David's promptness and his scheduling confirmation to help us manage our additional trades (plumber; electrician; cabinetry)David and his professional team of installers were so pleasant to have in the house. They were very careful and did not put a scratch on the cabinets during install. The pieces were a perfect fit. Very good people to work with. David's final invoice were as expected and his estimate was very detailed. We added a fireplace mantel to our scope of work, and even though extremely challenging due to the odd size and my mitred edge request, David was able to stay within his timeline and his 2nd estimate was documented the same as the first. I appreciate the paper trail and his management. I think the best endorsement that I can give David is that we have already decided he's our guy to do our next project.
