In truth I have forgotten the vendor. It was a very moderately priced resource that I only used on that project but I do remember that one of the reasons that the pricing on the line was so good was that it was being discontinued and was at clearance pricing. We were doing this project on a tight budget and I had to do some digging to make that happen. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you. If you like the look, consider looking into Stanley Furniture, Lane, even Ethan Allen. All are moderately priced. In truth, this clean lined aesthetic or similar is relatively easy to find in the mainstream marketplace. Best of luck. DD **Q: Living room setup** *(in Design Dilemma)* Wondering if these two sitting chairs complement the existing furniture and layout of this room (slightly cooler grey than the couch)? If the chair backs are lower than the height of the couch is that something to worry about? And also is this the best arrangement of furniture (for the couch,chairs, ottoman) the upright piano will stay on the short wall where the small piano pendant is, and tv will stay as is as we don't want to do any rewiring. We tried turning the couch to face the television but things seemed more closed off and crowded. This is mostly a conversation space. Although my husband and I will watch tv here on a weeknight. That said, I think you should nix the two small chairs so you can keep the piano in the room where you use it. You definitely have space to place a club chair AND ottoman to the left of the piano in some form or fashion, based on what I can see. Perhaps cheat the piano a little further to the right. You do need a larger rug as pointed out by some other contributors. VERY nice space, btw. "Go big or go home" ;-) **Q: Plain or Patterned Curtains?** *(in Design Dilemma)* Okay, here is my next dilemma...Curtains. Would you choose a plain curtain or patterned curtain? What color? I have two windows in the front of the room... I am definitely scared of color..so if you chose plain, would you do a darker gray (like the couch) or an off white? And there is another window to the right of the chair. Plus, we have a sliding glass door... Thank you for your help! I will be forever grateful!!!!! A: Panels for sure. You need the vertical lines and the softness. Something with a large, open and airy pattern. Something organic, even "scrolly". Very light field color with the pattern in a mid tone neutral, probably some version of your gray or introduce khaki or tan. Mount them the height of your kitchen cabinetry and take them to just brushing the floor. Perhaps put a "faux" Roman valance beneath the poles to raise the perceived height of the windows, which have a lot of negative space above them. You absolutely have sufficient space for the stack of the fabric, especially if you do single width panels. Grommeted panels, for example, stack very tightly, but I would do pleated. Probably Euro pleated for a casual relaxed vibe. In the corner where there are two adjacent windows, use a continuous length of pole with a corner connection and panels meeting in the corner. Pics attached. You have a really nice start to this space. Have fun. **Q: What's the new fab upholstery fabric?** *(in Design Dilemma)* I snagged this fabulous old sofa in New Orleans. I plan to use an upholstered bench in place of a coffee table, topped with some books, maybe a gold tray. I'd like the room to be just a bit funky. I'm not going to re-cover the sofa just now, but what to put on the bench? I've thought about a zebra print but ... are we all done with that? What's the new thing in upholstery? A: Hi Ann. In making this decision, consider how versatile you would like the bench to be for the long term. Will you always want to use it in front of the sofa or would you like it to be a more versatile element? What if you move? What if one day you want to use it in your foyer or, in front of the fireplace, at the foot of your bed, etc.? You will get more mileage and flexibility out of a bench by covering it in a lovely neutral, tone on tone pattern, woven, even leather... You already have big color in the sofa fabric and could even add more in toss pillows if you chose.
