  - Description: Lounge Chair 01 was part of a DWR competition out of Chicago for a manufactured line produced by DWR. This chair was a fiberglass molded piece made of three simple pieces, connected only by friction. It could be easily taken apart and stored, or shipped. Lounge Chair 02 was based on chair 01, displayed in the DWR Chicago Competition. Chair 02, however, was altered and resized to accomodate a new design entirely out of salvaged lumber. A full gut brought this beauty back to life and gave it modern livability. New commercial-grade aluminum windows uniquely framed the view of the surrounding landscape in each room while new materials such as concrete and cedar provided a crisp finish on the exterior and interior.

This deck was designed as a multi-platform cascading system to scale the level change from one side of the yard to the other. A clear cedar, blind fastener system meant no face nails and gorgeous integrated benches to make for a seamless look throughout.
