**Q: Confirm the sink drain hole diameter requried for this faucet** *(in Product Questions)*

The description of the vessel sink I am purchasing says 1 1/2" (in diameter) pop up drain is required.  The description for this faucet and pop up drain indicates it fits a sink with a 1.75" drain hole.  Please confirm my understanding that this drain will NOT fit the vessel sink I am purchasing.  Which diameter is indeed the "standard" in the US:  1.5" or 1.75",  Thanks,

A: Hello, You are correct, this drain will not work with an 1.5" opening. Our pop-up drains do require a 1.75" drain opening.

Yes, it can used on a sink that is not under mounted. Just be sure to double check the clearance from counter or top of sink (whatever is taller)
to the spout for adequate clearance.

5.5 inches is the tallest point of this sink, and about 4.5 inches in the front and back.
