**Q: What kind of stain/finish did you use on the yellow birch?  Beautiful.** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The finish on this was Zar Ultramax which is an oil-infused water-based polyurethane. It is very low VOC and the oil brings out the natural colors in the Birch.

I am looking for treatment as matte as possible. Tis

A: I would recommend Zar Ultra max water-based oil modified polyurethane. It comes in an "antique flat" sheen and the oil brings out the color woods like walnut and cherry.

A: Hi, I'm sorry I don't know, I wasn't involved with that part of the project.

A: Hi,  Sorry I do no know. I built and installed the cabinetry, I was not involved with the construction of the of the apartment building.

Hi, what is the countertop material made of?

A: Hi, The countertop is Cherry. It was finished with two coats of Watco Danish oil finish followed by several coats of oil based polyurethane.

Where was this sink purchased from? It's perfect!

A: I am pretty sure that my customers purchased it at an architectural salvage store. If you have a store like that in your area I would try there. If not, you might try craigslist or ebay. Good Luck, Ed
