She recommended vendors, contractors, suppliers, etc. We went shopping at a variety of suppliers and together we honed in on what would ultimately meet my overall vision. She had a lot of input and suggestions - most of which I took - because she has a keen eye for form AND function. She started the design process with renderings and continued to update those as the design evolved. The renderings were extremely helpful with making decisions on how something might or might not work. She stuck with me throughout the construction process.
