Elements of the renovation included a stunning, two-story watercolor wall-mural with a botanical theme, gorgeous blues and greens the color of the sky and waters, a soft blue glass backsplash that mirrors the ethereal color of Moraine Lake, warm teal cabinets, bronze vintage scones and accents in the drawer pulls and faucet, three rustic beams with lighting imbedded within that complement the beautiful natural oak floors, it is extraordinary! This space now opens into the living room and the colors mix and flow like a river through a forest. This area of the home feels like a hug from Mother Nature herself and it is because Kami listened and then created a space that is the heart's desire. I am considering putting in a step down work space in my counter and this is one of the best examples, utilizing the space of the 2 levels, including showing the mixer lift right nearby! Your help is much appreciated ... Thank you!! A: Great inquiry! There was a lot of countertop in this kitchen (just over 60 square feet). The lowered portion of the counter was 30" above the floor (typical is 36") and was 31" wide x 25-1/2" deep. Locating the mixer stand adjacent to the baking center was a no-brainer in this space! Best of luck with your project! **Q: Where can I find hardware to install the pull-out thing for the mixer?** *(in Photo Questions)* That is one of the coolest things I have seen for stand-up mixer storage.
