I started EmV Designs, LLC., to produce designs that can stand as art pieces and can be constructed at any given price point. I marry beautiful and unique design elements into spaces, through the use of finishes and color and through the technical side of construction.        

After 8 years of working in the Interior Design and Construction Industry, I discovered that the number one reason home or business remodeling projects overwhelm clients and drive projects over budget is lack of planning. It can be overwhelming to choose from multiple selections of finishes in different styles and price points, so it becomes easy to loose track of the original idea or concept.  When selections are made because time is running out before a deadline, excitement about the project turns to frustration and the project becomes exhausting and no longer fun.

At EmV Designs, LLC., I have developed a sequential process that allows me to connect and extract design information from you about the space you have been imagining and bring it to life while keeping close track of budget and time constraints.

> EmV has transformed our 1994 house from a 'needs help' house to a beautiful comfortable home that fits our needs and wants. Being new to Tucson five years ago, we met with a number of designers and builders with the goal of converting our very needy master bathroom and master bedroom into a livable area. Once we found Edith Villalobos our choice was made - and EmV did more than make it livable. It became a wonderfully designed and built living space that meets our needs and wants. Edith not only considered the house in preparation for the job, she also considered us: our personalities and tastes. We shopped with her, shared design interests and preferences, and learned quite a bit about both the design and build aspects of the job. Because EmV is so immersed in both the design and build process, planning was a seamless process. Since then we have had renovations to our laundry room, our guest bathroom, and the hallway powder room. Anytime we have a question it is quickly addressed. Anytime we are unclear on anything, we are consulted. Anytime follow-up is needed, it is taken care of quickly, respectfully, and with quality. We have more work to do in the living room and kitchen and will be calling on EmV to complete the work for us. It's a rare quality in a business these days to not only maintain professionalism with clients, as does EmV, but also to make the clients feel special and important. That's what EmV is all about. > Working with Edith has been a pleasure.  I constantly tell my coworkers, friends and family that the best decision we made when remodeling our house was to hire Edith.

She continually kept tabs on all of the subcontractors and relayed their comments and concerns to us in a timely manner.  As with any large project, there were unforeseen challenges.  She kept us informed and I always felt that we were in control.  When we unexpectedly needed to replace all of the plumbing in the home, the home inspection did not give any warning of this, Edith bid the project out to multiple plumbers.  The original plumber came back with the best pricing and we ultimately stayed with the original plumber.  Edith put the entire project on hold during this time to help us reassess the project and ultimately move forward.  Even with this setback, we were able to move into the home on time. She was also able to put pressure on the subcontractors to repair any mistakes and make sure everything was perfect.  There were multiple times that she made the subcontractors come back because their work did not meet her standards of quality.  Because of this she was able to take the vision we had discussed during the design of our project and implement it perfectly.
