The lock did not work right the 1st time and it took about 6weeks and tons of phone calls to get it fixed Not a permanent fix though . About 6 months later it broke again and it couldn’t be locked it took lots of phone calls lots of bagging to get them to my house to fix it AGAIN , it only took them a about 71/2 weeks to get to my house and fix it . Every time it breaks Thrush doesn’t care . I’ve told every one I know about Thrush I will do my best to see you don’t get any people I know as clients . It took them five months to finish a roofing job after I signed the contract. Took them over two months to finish the aluminum flashing after they cashed the check. > > The roofing crew left a sizable pile of trash in my yard after putting the shingles on. Not roofing material, but actual garbage: Cigarette butts, the plastic wrapper from a new pack of cigarettes, a plastic grocery bag, a bag from an empty loaf of bread, an empty container that used to contain dried fruit and empty packets from diarrhea medicine. I called the office and asked for Allen, no dice. He didn’t seem to care about about my complaint with his company. > > I was able to speak to the owner, Allen Thrush on two occasions. Once on the phone when I had a question about the flashing that was in the contract, and once in person when I wrote the check. He and another employee told me that the flashing would be done and the job completed within “a couple weeks.” > > From that point on Allen Thrush avoided me, would not take or return my calls (even after I was told “he said he’ll call you tomorrow”) and left his employees to deal with the dissatisfied customer after repeated phone calls to him about finishing the job that I paid for. > > I logged and audio recorded all phone calls, as well as face to face communication I had with anyone from the company. After repeatedly being avoided by Allen, I contacted a lawyer. I had paid for a job that the owner had shown no sign of completing. We had at least five days in December with the temperature above 50 degrees. The roof was clear of snow and ice. > > I signed the contract on August 2, 2018. The job was started in the third week of October, 2018. I paid on October 31, 2018 (with the good faith promise of having the job completed as explained above).
