**Q: HELP!!!!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

saw this piece,loved it,bought it .thought it would look nice  obove the firepace .but i think its too dark ,all my furniture is already dark enough.how can i make it work?

A: You could color pop it with turquoise or red to increase the color palate in the room

**Q: Dining table placememt** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My dining table is the first piece of furniture in my dining/ living room combo.  Should I place the table lengthwise or widthwise?  Centered under the lamp (which I want to replace with something nicer) or centered in the "dining" part of the room?  (We have 4 chairs total, 2 more will come with the next truck)
I've included pictures from all angles.

A: I agree.  The fixture is too high, but the table position looks great.

**Q: Which island do YOU like?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are in the final stages of coming up with our kitchen floor plan.  I am now stumped on the shape of the island.  I think have it rounded would be better for conversation.  What do you think?

A: I prefer the first island with definite lines.
