We don't plan on painting the walls right now. Would love some ideas on how to decorate. Example- what kind of bedding, curtains, wall decor, lamp shades, behind lamps... Thanks!!! A: You should start by moving the bed to the wall without the window. I notice the floor vent, so you should put the head of your bed on the other wall. Maybe lift the bed with lifts, that will give you a bit of height to the bed. I agree with one of the other comments. I am not sure what the color is on the walls. You need to decide the color scheme and the look that you are trying to achieve for the room. You can decorate the room with great finds from markets or your local resale shops, if you want to stay within a minimal budget. Always include accent pillows on your bed. It will give the room a very elegant feel. Use different textures of pillows. Use your color in your accent pillows, lamp shades and window treatments. So when you tire of the color it is an easy change without alot of cost.
