I know Bona Traffic is low VOC, but that’s just the sealant. Curious about stains and how to stay relatively non toxic. A: Considering VOC levels, Duraseal have lower (around 300 - 350), while the Bona stain has higher levels, mostly in excess of 500. Duraseal has very low odor making it ideal for use indoors or outdoors. Its non-toxic formula is excellent for use in applications by those that are sensitive to chemicals and toxins. Duraseal a film forming industrial grade clear sealer with only two grams per liter VOC. Contains solvents which can cause permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents can be harmful or fatal. Bona is for hardwood floor owners with an uncompromising attitude towards durability, lasting beauty and sustainable solutions. Significantly outperforms all urethane finishes, including Bona Traffic, in durability at 24 hours. We just put in new backsplash tile, and it's a little overwhelming. So I am thinking of adding a tile insert above the stove in white arabesque tile.
