> Kurt and team completed a whole house remodel for us over a period of 9 months. This included full house rewire, five bathrooms to studs, major kitchen, feature walls, ceiling tray, vaulted ceilings, interior walls, wall resurfacing, interior and exterior painting, doors, moulding, windows, garage refinishing.
>
> Kurt was on site every day and had a clear plan for the work being completed. He spent a lot of time with us throughout the project and made sure he understood all our requests and made thoughtful suggestions.
>
> He has a great team who were on site every day. They were all friendly, skilled, hardworking and respectful. It was the same people from start to end.
>
> Kurt handled all permitting for us which was again completed on time which is no small miracle in San Jose.
>
> I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kurt to family and friends.

> We are extremely pleased with our whole house renovation by Vista Development Group. Kurt Hetzel guided us through every stage of the process, where he makes you feel at ease and fully understands the clients’ requirements and expectations. It was a pleasure working with Kurt, as he managed our large project and had great working relationships with a talented design partner, with the skilled, friendly, hardworking contractor teams, and with specialists to turn our dream into reality. We are grateful to the whole team for transforming our home and for identifying areas that needed attention and required upgrades and repair work. Kurt is very client-focused, accessible, responsive, and flexible. He quickly picks up on your priorities and requirements, keeps you updated, and will make recommendations and assist with you with making informed decisions. We were impressed with his professionalism, experience, and ability to follow-up and quickly close issues. He is very knowledgeable with various home styles, home energy efficiency requirements, and the city permit requirements and building review process. We are very happy with our home’s design elements and colors, as well as the upgraded infrastructure and lighting throughout the house. We decided to include both hardscaping and landscaping to complete our project … we continue to receive compliments from neighbors, friends, and family on how nice our home looks.

> It was great working with Kurt on our home renovation. With our recent purchase of a new home, there were a number of projects to take care of in a relatively brief period of time before moving in. He and the team did an excellent job managing the dozens of tasks and tightly sequencing them while maintaining high-quality work.
>
> We look forward to working with them in the future and would recommend Vista Development to others seeking renovations and/or home additions.

**★★★★★ — Christoph Schell, May 2020**

> Vista Development Group did a great job consulting, designing and executing our interior design project which was focused around kitchen remodeling and dinning & TV room modernization. They handled the required approval process, sourced capable contractors and experts and got the job done on time and on budget. Very much appreciated the professional engagement.

**★★★★★ — Stewart Home Designs, March 2020**

> I am a kitchen/bathroom designer and have been working with Vista Development Group for 4 years on about 13 projects. It's a great company with high construction standards and very client oriented. Kurt Hetzel, the owner of the company, a true professional in the field. He is very detailed oriented, has a great understanding of space and ability to create a functional design that exceeds anyone's expectations. He is a great manager and has a very dedicated team working with him. I highly recommend this company for anyone who is thinking about remodeling their home, do addition or build a brand new house. You won't be disappointed!

**★★★★★ — Abundance Realty, March 2020**

> Kurt is amazing at creating functional spaces that meet today's needs. I have been following Kurt & Maria for several years, and were involved with 3 of their houses. All 3 started with challenging layouts and poor lighting, among other issues. Kurt transformed them with open and inviting Great Rooms, spacious master suites, and fantastic natural lighting. I am also impressed at how Kurt manages intricate permitting processes and difficult contractors. He is a straight shooter, and operates with integrity. I highly recommend Kurt for home renovation and expansion projects. He'll give you the peace of mind so you can focus on your busy lives!

**★★★★★ — M. Chin, July 2019**

> We had the pleasure of working with Vista Development Group and its partner, Stewart Home Designs (Maria Stewart), on a whole-house renovation. Vista Development provided end-to-end services for the renovation: the design and prints for the house, the landscape design, the contractors, and overall management of and responsibility for the project. Stewart Home Designs helped us with the selection of cabinets, countertops, tile, fixtures, doors, and flooring, and with interior and exterior paint specs. Kurt and Maria are client-focused, and they always responded timely whenever we reached out to them with a question. There was excellent follow-up of punch list items -- and the project was completed on time and within the budget! We are amazed by the transformation of the house, and are very happy with the result. After completion of our project, we had a chance to see a couple of similar homes in the neighborhood that were renovated, and we think Kurt and Maria had the most aesthetically pleasing design ideas.
