Would never hire again or recommend to my worst enemy. > Hired to renovate a small studio and it still isn’t done after several years. The construction took four times longer than the schedule under the contract. He was the most expensive architect of everyone I interviewed but I hired because I trusted him. Big mistake. He never even came to meet with me to do an inspection. Words can’t describe how disappointed I am. Also, we had a lot of windows, but all on the same side and wanted to maximize bedrooms... Rodriguez studios did an amazing job. Using a sliding wall and hideaway doors, we're able to close-off a bedrooms area or keep it open for a more loft feel. The details are fantastic, including the sliding wall which has 3 large circles cut out to allow light. Storage space is also cleverly maximized, which is great. I gutted a small apartment in New York which required various filings with both my building and the city of New York. Carlos worked with my interior designer and me to refine our ideas and get them down on paper, shepherded the plans through the NY Department of Building and got the C of O quickly at the end of the project. Rodriguez Studio was always available and responsive to questions and phone calls which was enormously helpful and their work was on budget and quickly completed.
