On both projects, Tonianne set realistic timelines and came in on schedule. She has strong relationships with her subs and collaborates well with homeowners and decorators to create custom kitchens and baths. In our second, larger remodel, we needed to employ an architect to re-design the floor plan and raise the ceiling in a large area. Tonianne referred us to a wonderful architect and then seamlessly oversaw the project that included; foundation work (with engineering needs), framing, roofing, replacing plumbing, and finishing out the interior (including 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living area, kitchen, staircase, and reframing the home to add a large closet, laundry room, and mudroom). Do the mirrors behind it open - I see seams and wonder why - maybe it's a mirror illusion? A: So there is a recess medicine cabinet at each sink which is part of what you see, but there is also a grid sectional of glass that clads the drywall in between the two mirrors, at the bottom of the mirrors and then at the top, so there are three separate pieces of glass and if my memory serves me right there might even be a piece of glass between the wall and the medicine cabinet. Hope that helps **Q: Tub deck installation** *(in Photo Questions)* Hi Tonianne, We are in the middle of a similar tub/show remodel with a framed under-mount tub, topped with a marble deck. Our contractor recommends cutting diagonals at the corners of the deck to slightly tilt each of the four sides to divert shower water back into the tub. Did you do something similar here? It's hard to tell from the pics. I'm not sure how conventional the idea is and how it will effect the overall look. What are your thoughts? A: You can cut diagonals as your contractor recommends. It's not necessary though to achieve a slope, which you do need for the reasons stated. A very minimal slope is all you really need. Either way, however you cut the slab, you should not see the seams in the slab. If finished out right, they will polish and buff those seams so they aren't visible. I hope that helped. Good luck with your project. . **Q: I love the glass doors, Please give me manufacturer.** *(in Photo Questions)* A: They were made locally by a glass manufacturer. Any glass manufacturer in your local area can fabricate a shower glass door for you according to your specifications. **Q: Where can I get the shower door** *(in Photo Questions)* A: I would call another glass installer. First off, you do not use bottom rails in seamless glass application, hence the term seamless. A bottom rail could be used and glued to the tub like they did it old school style but again, a bottom rail is never used in this sort of application. Also, a bottom rail collects mold and mildew. Instead, where the glass meets the tub you silicone caulk it. As far as fastening the glass, you'll notice in the picture there are 2 hinge locations at the top and 2 on each side. We were also able to use hinges at the bottom but only bcz there is a quartz slab on top of the tub so we screwed into that. You will want to make sure you have solid framing behind the hinge locations on the wall and ceiling. The installer could also eliminate the small panel on the left side and just hinge the door directly to the wall, if you don't plan on having a slab on top of the tub. This will make the glass more rigid. Hope that makes sense. You could also share this info with the installer. **Q: Tub** *(in Photo Questions)* Hi! This looks great! We are renovating a small space and using for a master for a while - is this a standard tub, or is it deeper for soaking? This may be perfect! Thanks! A: This is a bit deeper than most standard size tubs. I do not recall the exact dimensions on it though. We did not provide the tub for the Owner. They picked it out and ordered it so I don't have the specs on it. **Q: What is the color blue** *(in Photo Questions)* On the media piece? Thanks!
