> McQueen Design Build did a great job with our complete kitchen remodel.  We were very happy during construction, and we are happy with the results.

> Michael is very responsive when you reach out with questions/concerns.  That is difficult to find in contractors.  He always picks up the phone and returns calls when you need to leave a message.  He scheduled work in a thoughtful fashion to keep the job moving forward - no easy task during a pandemic.

> We we're not only satisfied, but pleased with the work Michael and his own team and network of subs completed for us. We had an extensive scope of work including, 3.5 bathroom remodels, and a complete rennovation of our master suite.  In additon McQDB did interior additions from cabinets to fireplace and beam rennovation, exterior upgrades including adding a patio, fence, trellis, irrigation and landscaping.

> Stay away from Michael Mcqueen - he's terrible.  He remodeled our master bathroom two years ago and it was the absolute worst contractor experience I've ever had.  As the project went on, he paid less attention to our requests and even turned hostile in the end as he rushed to complete the work.  His work was sloppy and we are living with the nightmare now years later.  He used a pre fab shower pan, and the floor tile in the shower is beginning to crack because of movement below.  When you step in different parts of the shower you can hear it moving.  He also failed to move the shower drain to the low point in the pan so water pools about 6 inches from the actual drain.  He installed the hand held shower valve backward which required us to cut open the wall to reverse it so it worked.  The toilet was not installed using bolts in the flange and instead glued to the tile floor.  When the toilet was subsequently removed it damaged the underlying tile.  And our beautiful marble tiles were not properly installed.  There is a very noticeable film/staining across the entire floor, and from day one our white grout was brownish yellow because he did not properly clean before grouting.  I should have realized we were headed for trouble on day one when he began the demo without properly sealing off the project from the rest of the house.  We repeatedly asked him to seal off the project which he refused to do so we did it ourselves when he left every day, and then the next day it would be torn open upon his arrival and not replaced.  Our carpet never came clean from all the dust.

Yep, it was a mess, but well worth it.  His subcontractors also did a great job. And, he didn't mind that I threw a few curve balls at him
