> I have been working with Craig Hench of Olde Forge Builders since June of 2015, so more than six months now, and I am delighted with what is happening.  I had heard tales of woe about general contractors from friends and acquaintances before I found Old Forge, and I'd had a couple of stings myself:  when I first started looking for someone to help me restore my old house, contractors who had come highly recommended wouldn't even speak to me.  Craig not only answered his own phone, he agreed to come take a look within a few days of our initial contact.

> From the moment we began the planning of our basement remodeling project, with Craig Hench at Olde Forge Builders, to the final touches applied, creating our dream bar / recreation room, we experienced nothing but quality work done with professional knowledge, care and time efficiency.  Craig made a huge difference in the entire process by being "hands-on" and having access to and using only 5 star (highest rated) skilled subcontractors for the variety of detailed applications we requested along with being flexible to a number of changes we asked for during the project progression.  Craig is a very experienced builder / re-modeler with access to many vendors who provide the best quality materials and services.  The only cost changes to our project, above and beyond the initial estimates, were those incurred as a result of our requests for upgrades in material, design and workmanship meaning there were no hidden expenses or padding of the price after the fact.  We couldn't be happier with the results of our project and we will continue to use Craig and Olde Forge for future projects.  We would give our highest recommendation to anyone looking for the kind of quality craftsmanship and professionalism we experienced.

> We had a full kitchen remodel done from design to finish. Our kitchen is not that big but they maximized the space and gave me lots of storage. The kitchen was gutted and to accommodate the design they had to move the window and the appliances. They took care of all the plumbing and electrical. The workmen were accommodating and respectful throughout the whole process. There were small issues that came during the remodel but they were taken care of in a timely fashion. The project came in on time and on budget.  I would definitely recommend this builder.
