Choosing Gery Wilde to build our home is one of the best decisions we have ever made. When choosing who we would work with to build our home, we talked to those who had built with Gery. Their reviews of Gery and his operation were unanimously very positive and they were very pleased with their experience with Gery as their builder. One told us that a week after completion and final closing, they went to check on their house during a large rainstorm one night, only to find Gery over there, in the rain and in the dark with a flashlight, checking all around the house and yard for any drainage issues. We have had a similar experience with Gery years later. All told us they would build with Gery again. But just as impressive or more impressive was our discussion with a work partner of mine, who had gotten a bid from Gery, but chose another builder. They had close friends building at the same time who had chosen Gery as their builder. My partner and his wife had excessive problems with their builder, and had to resite their foundation after it was poured due to builder error, and eventually had to change builders. But their friends had a great experience with Gery and their home was ready many months before my partner's house. My partner and his wife emphatically told us that they wished that they had chosen Gery, and recommended strongly that we do so. Despite our house and our lot being very complex, Gery made the process a pleasure for us, and surprisingly it was not stressful. I would build again, but only with Gery Wilde as our builder. Gery is as honest a man as we have ever met, and the entire process, and the finances, are completely transparent. With Gery's knowledge and expertise as an engineer, and as an experienced builder, we felt completely comfortable putting our trust and faith in him, and he did not disappoint us. There is a reason that Gery's numerous close friends are in large part made up of clients whose homes he built. I have recommended him to my friends and coworkers who had the same strong positive experience that we had with Gery as our builder. Now those that Gery built for years ago are asking him to build them additional homes, or to remodel homes they built decades ago. That is as high a praise as a craftsman and builder can get. We interviewed several custom home builders. Were impressed with the fact Gery was a green builder, and seemed to be straight forward and honest. So, we signed him up. In July 1995, our house was finished, on time and on budget. He suggested ways to improve on the house while being built which has turned out to be very beneficial. We got to be good friends then and still are today 22 years later.
