> Went to Stair Solution and was greeted as soon as we entered by a young lady and we told her that we wanted some information on replacing the wooden balusters in our home to wrought iron.  She went and got the interior design specialist, Kathy Tuton.  She was very knowledgeable and asked us what we had in mind.  We originally had wanted the classic basket style but Kathy mentioned that that particular style was dated and suggested a modern take on the basket baluster.  We had the quote about an hour later and we shocked at how affordable the project was.  I called and spoke with her on the phone and gave her a deposit for the work.  Long story short, the installers showed up on Saturday, installed 91 balusters and throughout the installation, the crew kept checking with us to insure we were satisfied.  They was done in three hours.  Highly recommend this company.  Some of the reviews on Yelp are very negative.  We experienced absolutely nothing that was negative with our interaction with anyone associated with this company.  Again, highly recommend!

> I relocated from Atlanta to Maryland and bought a new house.  Prior to moving I knew I wanted a wrought iron staircase in my new home to replace the wooden balusters. I did not have the exact number nor pattern readily available.  However, I was able to gather pictures and through the pictures, Kathy W did an amazing job.  From the pictures, she figured out this gorgeous pattern, counted the balusters and appropriated the exact amount I needed.  Although I got a few extra, I did not need them. She had my SUV loaded with all of the material and personally made sure I had the correct items and handed me with a folder with the pattern she designed. First, Mike came out and when I expressed we'd be moving in a year or so, he recommended we not break the bank and estimated based on what we NEEDED, not how much we could get for our budget.  Second, the price was very reasonable especially with four flights of stairs (Split level).  That is why we went with them.  They set our expectations, started on time and the installers, who all spoke English, were polite, efficient and considerate. **Q: Beautiful Spa Ensuite With Glass Mosaic** *(in Before & After)*

We removed a large soaker tub which had a standard vinyl window over it. Beside it was a classic builder grade cubbie shower and converted all of that area into a curbless shower/change area. 
We replaced the vinyl window with glass block to ensure a perfectly flush finish with the wall tile and ensuring everything was completely waterproof. In the change area there is a towel warmer and wall mounted mirror. 
The bathroom has a heated floor on a programmable thermostat. The floor of the bathroom is perfectly flush to the entrance of the shower with a large glass wall. There is no door for a smooth transition from bath to change area to shower. 
The floating vanity and bench were custom designed to wrap around the two opposite walls. There is under mount lighting under each of the vanity and bench to add colour and mood lighting. We put them on a sensor switch so that at night only the under mount lights come on when someone enters the ensuite. 
The small mosaic wall with the niches are tiled in a glass mosaic with matching accent tiles on the wall with the rain-head and over the vanity counter. The two faucets are wall mounted and flow into a single top mounted vessel sink.

**Q: On to the Bedroom** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Attached are pictures of our master.  I have been trying for years to "get it right," but felt I never have.  Recently put hardwood floors down. New headboard. Took everything off of walls.  Bought a sisal rug. Trying to go more classy shabby, if that's a style. Drapes will go. I want sleeker Roman blind shades.  Want to paint the dresser if feasible.  Need a new chandelier Any inspirational thoughts?  You guys were great when I was doing my shelves in the great room!  How do I put a link to this dilemma on my book shelve page?  Thanks, guys.

**Q: which Gray wall color for small south facing living room?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My tiny rancher is going neutral with great walls and white trim. Trim not yet complete and this room is not correctly furnished (current furniture is temporary in pics). Stonington gray looks blue, BM cashmere gray is neutral blue/green but light, gray owl seems very light, and SW mindful gray appears simply gray. Which shade appears airy and cool for a small room? Recessed lighting throughout. Is mindful gray too dark?  Note: I'm not picking a rug first because I live in a wooded area with dogs and rugs will be replaced on occasion.

This is a guest room with the only window on the side - oh so sad looking. I'm glad to have the wallspace for the furniture, but is there anything I can do to make this window go from blah to wow?
