These cabinets are Medallion Maple in the Appaloosa finish, door style Providence Reverse Raised Panel.

**Q: Kitchen splashback** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Any thoughts on a splashback for our newly finished kitchen? Was thinking a charcoal grey glass but am open to ideas. Cabinets are white under the blue film.

A: In that case the sky is the limit, glossy white cabinets! You can do anything!!

**Q: Do you have to primer indoor doors before painting with oil based paint?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I want maximum stick-age.  :). I'm done sanding.  (My painters used wrong paint so all doors were peeling -one of my many contractor disasters!)

A: In my opinion you should prime everything! Even if it is a few light coats of a spray primer. Good luck!

**Q: Which do you prefer: playing with Room Styles in a single color palette!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Which room appeals to you the most in this yellow and blue color palette?

A: The geometric light fixture in the 1st grouping...I absolutely love it! Where did you find it?

**Q: Kitchen Floor Tiles need to go!  Replacement ideas?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

The kitchen came with hideous industrial tiles.  Want to replace them. Kitchen has white cabinets and black countertops.  Attached are pictures of the kitchen, and the backsplash. Rest of apartment is dark wood like in the 3rd picture.  Can't wait to hear your ideas!

A: I use local tile places since I have a builders account with a few. But I have heard from clients that The Tile Shop is nice. Any local tile place would be good and if they are pricey you can usually find a good deal online (shipping is the only kicker)
