**★★★★★ — Dee Dee DeBartlo, Oct. 2019**

> After living in NYC for 25 years, we bought our first house, a 1952 ranch that was in need of a total overhaul. We knew we had to do a gut renovation but didn't know where to begin. With only 4 months to essentially create a new house, we needed someone who had a vision and the skills to not only give us a beautiful, modern home but to get the job done on time and as close to budget as possible. The Titus team did a fantastic job on an incredibly tight schedule and we're grateful! The team is skilled, creative, hardworking, and conscientious. And they're good people all around. We're so happy we hired Titus!

**Comment from Titus Built, LLC:**

> Thank you Dee Dee! It was our pleasure and I hope that you will let us know if you should need us for any reason on the past or future projects. :-)

**★★★★★ — Kathryn Simmelkjaer, May 2019**

> We had a fantastic experience with Titus Built. Jeff was incredibly responsive, communicative and dedicated from start to finish.
>
> I had some idea of what I wanted to do in renovating our family room and doing minor renovations in our kitchen. But I needed help in putting the full vision together. Jeff was able to do that and he and his design team had a great sense of what we were looking for.
>
> Everyone from Jeff to his project manager to his crew of workers were professional and they took great care and concern in their work every step of the way. They were an absolute pleasure to work with.
>
> The end result is a beautiful family room that is top quality, unique and reflects our style perfectly!
>
> We look forward to definitely using Jeff again for future projects.

**Comment from Titus Built, LLC:**

> Thank you Kathryn! I'm so glad that you are happy with the outcome and my team. I had no doubt that it would turn out amazing even from the first day that we went together to pick out the beautiful reclaimed beam that we re-purposed for your new fireplace mantle! I would love to work with you again and thank you for the kind words!

**★★★★★ — Danielle Vanessa Studio, Jan. 2019**

> Jeff was great to work for! His projects are some of my favorites - they are well done (check out his work, it’s incredible) and therefore easy to photograph. He’s prompt with communication and has reasonable expectations. Behind the scenes, I see he has some of the best client relationships I’ve seen! Jeff is just a really nice guy that does great work.

**Comment from Titus Built, LLC:**

> Thanks Danielle---you're the best! See you on the next shoot. :-)

**★★★★★ — Christy Hahn, Nov. 2018**

> We hired Jeff and Titus built to renovate our kitchen and great room along with adding a small addition for a new upstairs laundry room, bath and bedroom.
>
> From the beginning, Jeff was communicative, responsive, professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with...and this continued through to completion of project. His workers were thorough, professional and took great care to keep the disruption for us to a minimum.
>
> Our project was completed within the time frame Jeff anticipated and we couldn’t be more pleased with it. I highly recommend Jeff and Titus Built to anyone looking for high quality, fairly priced home renovation/construction!

**Comment from Titus Built, LLC:**

> Thank you Christy! I hope you and the family enjoy the new space, just in time for the holidays!!

**★★★★★ — Chrissy O'Keeffe, Nov. 2018**

> Titus Built helped us make our dream master bathroom a reality! From the early planning days to the final touch-ups, Jeff and his team were responsive, collaborative, and creative in helping us maximize our space and achieve the desired look. The craftsmanship of the custom cabinetry is truly beautiful and the tile work is exceptional as well. The project was completed on time and on budget - and any questions or concerns we had throughout the process were quickly resolved. We love the finished product and look forward to working with Jeff and his team again on future renovations!

**Comment from Titus Built, LLC:**

> Thank you Chrissy! Anytime that you need us, I'll be there!

**★★★★★ — boltonreds, May 2016**

> Titus Built is our go-to contractor for everything related to our home. They've finished two basements for us, built two spectacular wine cellars and attended to all our project needs, big and small, for many years. Impeccable work and service quality. Recommended without reservation.

**★★★★★ — remodel7, April 2016**

> We have retained Titus Built for several home projects over the years. Most recently we did a full kitchen renovation and were extremely pleased with the result. From beginning to end, Titus was a pleasure to work with. They ensured we stayed on track and were very flexible with design changes or modifications. Titus Built has consistently delivered high quality craftsmanship in a creative and timely manner. They are extremely professional and their follow through is reliable. I would highly recommend Titus Built for your home improvement needs.

**★★★★★ — skunkers, Sept. 2014**

> We hired Titus Built to design and build a farmhouse porch for us that would be a three season room. Jeff Titus was a pleasure to work with -- he and his team were very professional. They listened to what we wanted, gave us good advice and were flexible when we requested changes. The quality of their work was excellent and they completed the project on time and within budget. The end result was a porch with the farmhouse feel we were looking for, including custom cabinetry his team built from barnwood that is both functional and great looking. Overall, we would highly recommend Jeff and his team.

> I hired Titus in 2009 to do a home remodel on a midcentury modern home circa 1946. I am sad to say it did not work out as I had hoped. Much of what they did had to be redone due to poor quality: all tile work (grout and tile cracked) due to improper subfloor installation; 2 shower stalls which needed to be rebuilt; low-quality, mismatched, improperly prepped and installed exterior wood siding, all of which needs to be replaced; improper flashing; bathroom walls that aren't aligned; non-matching baseboard molding. Further, the basement bathroom (not in scope originally) leaked during construction, the rebuild of which added another $8000 to the job. After the job was finished, it leaked again. Titus recommended an additional costly repair (around $3500) that did not resolve the problem. In the end, it turned out to be a badly installed gutter and merely a $200 repair. Recently, due to a minor mold issue in the same bathroom, I had to remove some dry wall that they had installed. The source of the mold was rotting wood that had been there pre-construction and was soaked due to an abandoned but open dry well. All this should have been taken care of when they gutted and rebuilt the bathroom the first time. At best the work on the job was sloppy at worst they cut huge corners at my expense. In the end I had to hire other contractors to repair their work. I read these reviews and it makes me sad because clearly they did not give me the same attention they have given their other clients.

> Lois,
>
> I just read your post and I am mortified to hear your comments. After nearly 5 years, this is the first I’m hearing of your dissatisfaction. I regret that you did not contact me to review any of your concerns or discoveries so that I may have addressed them. We live in a very small community and I am not pleased to have even one dissatisfied client.
>
> As with most projects, we had a completion list that was documented and accepted by all parties including your Architects. To my knowledge this list was completed and a final payment was issued on the project based on your acceptance of the list being completed satisfactorily.
>
> If issues had arisen after the project was completed, I am completely unaware of them and again wish I had the opportunity to review and correct. In 20 years of business, I’ve never had a complaint such as this and would have personally addressed your concerns.
>

**★★★★★ — conservatoryofdance, April 2014**

> TitusBuilt was hired to design and build our new state of the art dance studios located in downtown Wilton, Connecticut. The project completion was nothing short of fantastic. The efficiency of the design allows for a comfortable and beautiful space for both the dance students and the parents. We were absolutely thrilled with the entire project from design to completion. Every detail was considered and the project was amazing to watch come to fruition. The entire TitusBuilt team was fantastic to work with, professional and caring from start to finish. Thanks to TitusBuilt, I hope to have many years of enjoyment in our new state of the art facility.

**★★★★★ — jenfrattaroli, July 2013**

> We have done several large renovations with Titus Built over the last 17 years as well as many smaller home improvement projects and there is no other company we would rather work with. The workmanship and reliability of Titus Built has been consistently top notch for all of these years that we have worked with them. They are responsive, professional and truly every one on the team is a pleasure to work with. The work is done on time, the job sites are kept clean, and any requests we have ever had have always been met. I highly recommend Titus Built for any home improvement projects, large or small...you will be thrilled with how easy they make the process!

**★★★★★ — cobber31, June 2013**

> Titus Built renovated a large portion of my basement. The job included blasting through a wall that gave access to my backyard, constructing a stairwell to the outside, building out a large living area of approximately 2000sf which included a tv area, a kitchen, six bunk beds and a bathroom. In another area of the basement a gym was built. The job was a huge success. It looks tremendous and my family uses it daily. The workmanship was top notch and the owner Jeff Titus was very easy to work with. Any problem was dealt with immediately and solved.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Color of island and stone** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love the gray color of the island. Can you share the name of the color and also what the counter is?

A: Thanks for your question! Looking back through my notes, I believe the countertop is Lincoln Calacutta 2" thick and the island is Ben Moore Gray Huskie \#1473----good luck with your project!

**Q: The island lights are lovely...** *(in Photo Questions)*

But you have not identified the source. I would love to order two. Please consider sharing the source. Thank you...

A: Thanks for your question. The client purchased the lights so I don’t have record of where they came from—sorry! If I get more information I will share it.

**Q: What brand are the lights?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I'm sorry, I don't have that information in my file. Good luck!

**Q: can you please share the color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Exterior color please

A: I wish I could remember! I'll try to find it and report back if I do. :-)

**Q: Is that a cedar or shingle roof? If shingle, what product and color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It’s a pressure treated cedar wood roof.

**Q: Island** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hello Titus build-- lovely island! Is this available from your company?

A: Hi Lillian, yes we designed and built this entire kitchen and addition. We certainly could build and deliver one for you but would need to know particulars and design it. If interested, maybe we can chat this upcoming week? Office 203-834-0275 Jeff Titus
