Dream with Jeannie first found the right apartment for me (1700 square feet, large bathrooms, unusually shaped living room/kitchen) then suggested accent painting, showed me the planned layout/furniture/color scheme, found the proper furniture, negotiated fair pricing, and had everything delivered, setup and ready to go for me all within a month - for what I consider a very reasonable cost. I especially like that Dream with Jeannie kept the masculine feel to the design while still adding elegance to the entire project. I had seen Dream with Jannie's work in upscale model homes on the market and had asked who had done the design. Dream with Jeannie is "the real deal" and a great deal. She offered "upgrades" that were within our budget and she saved us where she could. Thanks** *(in Photo Questions)* I've looked everywhere for this stone. I have found some similar but would like to know the exact vendor and name of stone please. A: Hi Margo, thanks for your inquiry. Because this is a natural stone, there is no manufacturer or product name. This home was built in the Atlanta suburbs, so much of the stone used in this area comes from the relatively close Tennessee mountains. It's often Tennessee Crab Orchard Stone. For this project I requested irregular-shaped, medium-sized stones in neutral colors that didn't have a lot of gold or orange. I also specified no visible mortar joints. Stone is expensive to transport and labor-intensive to install. Using a stone that's available in your region makes economic sense. Good luck with your project. **Q: Please tell me what these floors are? Color and brand** *(in Photo Questions)* I live in the Sierra mountains and have a cute little kitchen with the same cafe white and champagne bronze range. We have to replace our natural pine floors and these look perfect. A: The ceramic floor and wall tiles in this bathroom are by Interceramic Tile and Stone. It is a realistic replica of natural Gascogne blue limestone. Natural matching limestone was used on tub deck and shower floor. Interceramic recently discontinued the ceramic tile pattern used in this bathroom. **Q: Almond windows? Just making sure** *(in Photo Questions)* I have almond windows and struggling to find a trim color to lighten it up. Thanks. A: Hi Cherri, I'm assuming you have factory finish vinyl clad or metal windows in an almond color. The Chateau at Tree Lane has wood windows that required painting. Both the windows and the trim were painted Sherwin-Williams Antique White 6119. SW Antique White could be a good choice to blend with factory finish almond. You want to consider the undertones in the existing almond color and go several shades lighter. **Q: What kind of brick is on the house?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The Chateau is clad in Spanish Moss queen size brick by Pine Hall Brick. Mortar color makes all the difference in the overall look. To achieve the look you see here, I chose pure white mortar. **Q: Need other info on the stone - please!** *(in Photo Questions)* Jeanie, this is quite simply the most beautiful house of its style that I have seen. I intend to build a replicate but am having trouble detailing the stone. I understand that it is Tennessee stone, but is there any other info that I need, i.e., fieldstone, or some other specific type? Your talent for color and material selection is amazing! Wish you were in Pittsburgh, PA! Regards, Andrea A: Andrea, We use a lot of Tennessee crab orchard stone in north Georgia, so that's a possibility. Crab Orchard can be very colorful, and some of those colors you may want to avoid for your project. Your best bet is to select pallets in the color range you want from the stoneyard. Or have a mason or contractor that you trust to do that for you. These are mid size stones which were individually chipped to the block shape on site. As an aside, I love using Pennsylvania Blue Stone on patios because it looks so beautiful accented by brick.
