> We had a great experience remodeling our yard with Lynch! Our project included multiple trees removal, irrigation, and a complete redesign of our yard including lawn installation and several new garden beds. Throughout the process, they were professional, punctual, respectful, and pleasant to work with. Even when we had unexpected things happen (as with any large scale project), our project managers were responsive, communicative, transparent and creative - they were able to resolve the issues quickly and professionally. They went out of their way to accommodate any requests we had and to keep us happy and comfortable throughout the process. We couldn't be happier with our new yard and with Lynch, and we are planning to hire them for a future project we are planning as well!

> I recently had the pleasure of working with Lynch Landscape and I am beyond thrilled with the results. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and enjoyable. One of the standout aspects of the project was the stunning planters designed and created by Sarah. Her creativity and attention to detail are truly exceptional.
>
> Sarah took the time to understand my vision and brought it to life with an artistry that exceeded my expectations. The planters she crafted are not only visually captivating but also perfectly tailored to complement my outdoor space.
>
> The quality of the materials used is top-notch, and the vibrant colors and healthy growth of the plants have added a whole new dimension to my garden.
>
> Beyond the exceptional craftsmanship of the planters, the overall service provided by Lynch Landscape Company was outstanding. The team was professional, punctual, and incredibly easy to work with. They kept me informed throughout the process and made sure every aspect of the project was executed flawlessly.
>
> I highly recommend Lynch Landscape to anyone looking to enhance their outdoor space. Whether you need intricate planters or a complete landscape overhaul, their team, especially Sarah, will deliver results that are nothing short of spectacular. My garden has never looked better, and I owe it all to their expertise and hard work.

> We worked with Lynch to update our front walkway and create more of a useable space when we are out front with our kids. They were very patient as we worked through several different iterations of the design to get it to the right price point that we were interested in. The plans we developed will also help us easily add on over the years as we continue to work on improving other sections of our property. Once we agreed on the design, the team wasted no time getting to work and completed the job in about 2 weeks. We had an awesome experience and are looking forward to our next project with Lynch!

**★★★★★ — Emily, Jan. 2024**

> Lynch Landscape was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. Josh worked closely with us during the design phase to curate the perfect backyard space for our family. He helped guide us and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The team that built our patio, retaining walls and yard landscape were professional and efficient. The final result was beyond what we could have imagined. We highly recommend this team.

> We’ve been a customer of Lynch for over a decade. Great to work with and very attentive to your needs whether it’s simple weekly maintenance or a hard scape project.

**★★★★★ — cortlandtjohnson, Dec. 2023**

> I've used Lynch for two years now. They've recreated our outdoor space through their design/build services as well as cut down and trimmed many trees in our yard through their tree division. Josh Brown and the entire team across all their divisions have been wonderful to work with. In a world where many service providers are unreliable, Lynch followed through ahead of schedule on all their timelines and commitments. I highly recommend working with them!

**★★★★★ — Elijah Sandoval, Dec. 2023**

> From the recent wind and rain storm, a large tree fell onto my driveway that prohibited my family and I from being able to enter or leave the house. I looked online for tree removal companies and came across Lynch Landscape. I called them immediately. The customer service was superb! A tree rep was able to come over and give me an estimate within the same day, they were nothing but kind, sympathetic and reassuring. The other companies I had called were not able to meet with me until the following day, so I really appreciated the swiftness of Lynch. Not to mention, the price was extremely fair and affordable.
> The crew that came to take away the tree was very efficient! For the tree being at least 30ft long, they were able to remove all the branches and debris within an hour and a half. The tree crew was very respective and was able to comply with all the requests my wife and I had.
> If you're in need of a tree removal or landscaping general, I highly recommend Lynch Landscaping.

> We have had the pleasure of working with the Lynch team over the past few years and cannot say enough good things about them! Everything from firewood delivery, to weekly landscaping, to fine gardening. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about every aspect of their work. Not only is every member of the team lovely to have around our home, they are meticulous and creative!
>
> The Fine Gardening team (AKA; the “Girl Gang”) are beyond sweet, love our dog(s), and make our home beautiful and inviting for each new season. They have also created breathtaking arrangements for holiday decor inside our home.
>
> We have been asked by several people, who does our planters and landscaping. I highly recommend them to anyone looking!

> Lynch Landscape and Tree Service completely renovated our outdoor space during the summer 2022, including new drainage systems, irrigation, walkways, patio, fire pit, lighting, and plantings. The project was a complete success from start to finish. Our designer, CJ Read, created a beautiful plan within our budget; the installation team was meticulous and on site every single workday until the project was done; and the end result is fantastic. Our neighbors stop us in the street to compliment our new yard and remark on how courteous and neat the Lynch work crews were! Lynch now handles our ongoing maintenance and seasonal plantings, and continues to be creative, reliable, and responsive. We are 100% satisfied with Lynch Landscape and Tree Service and highly recommend this company.

**★★★★★ — Adam Horowitz, Jan. 2023**

> CJ and team helped us with new fencing, stone walkways and plants. They managed the entire project start-to-finish. We love the end result!

**★★★★★ — Brian Thornfeldt, Jan. 2022**

> We had Lynch design and build an extensive patio renovation and everything went perfectly. There were a lot of moving parts from propane to spa delivery/install and everything was coordinated really well. We get many compliments from neighbors and the finished product looks very natural to the existing landscape.

**★★★★★ — Sarah M, Jan. 2022**

> We reached out to Lynch to get a quote for rebuilding our front stoop, walkway, and retaining wall along our entire driveway. One of the Landscape Designers from the Design/Build team, CJ, reached out right away to schedule a time to come to our property and discuss our project vision, needs, and budget. He immediately understood what we envisioned and how the existing setup needed to be changed to function better. Within a few days CJ sent a detailed plan with example images of all of the materials and structural components of the project, and he came out that same day to go through everything with us and make sure to answer any questions. It was exactly what we had asked for, and more! Because it was a large project, he also broke it up into three separate parts so that we could choose to do each separately if we wanted, depending on budget constraints. We decided to move forward with the entire project in one go.
>
> CJ was extremely organized and communicative throughout the entire project. It started exactly when he predicted, he checked in almost every day with the team onsite, and he kept us updated on progress, any issues, and schedule. He clearly has a lot of knowledge about hardscaping, and he had some really good ideas that we chose to incorporate, like undercap lighting along the wall and steps. As expected, a few issues arose during the project but we worked together to figure out the best solution, and he was very open to our ideas and thoughts. The entire team is incredibly skilled, and the masons building our fieldstone wall were patient and paid careful attention to detail. Our granite steps were placed exactly straight and level, and our bluestone patio was laid with the utmost care and exacting standards. They were all the nicest people to have working on your property for many weeks, as well. The finished project looks amazing- we get compliments from everyone who comes to our house, even people we don't know. It is truly spectacular and completely transforms our property! It was a real pleasure working with CJ and the Lynch team- they made it so easy and low stress for us and gave us a stunning (and much more functional) entrance to our house.
>
> We had a landscaping project done several years ago at a different house with a different landscape company, and it was a completely different experience- we were not kept in the loop, the workers showed up randomly, and once we came home to find a wall built in the wrong place. CJ and the Lynch team, on the other hand, showed up when they said they would, kept us well informed of the progress, and made us feel like our project was a priority. We won't hesitate to work with CJ and the Lynch team again on any additional future project, and we highly recommend them!

**★★★★★ — HU-154678320, Nov. 2021**

> I just recently had the Lynch Landscape and Tree Service Design division do my patio this summer. I was extremely impressed by the craftsmanship that the workers did! Throughout this process Lynch showed a lot professional and was very communicative. Whether we had questions Lynch was eager and ready to take them on. I am looking forward to working with Lynch again in the future!

**★★★★★ — HU-56144693, Nov. 2021**

> We had the pleasure working with Lynch Landscaping's design-build team on large landscaping makeover project at our home in Sudbury, MA. Our landscape designer and project manager, CJ Read, was absolutely fantastic! He listened to our goal for the project, asked questions about our likes and dislikes, selected plants that met our needs and would flourish, and worked and re-worked his design to our budget. Not only were we impressed by CJ's design, but also his depth of knowledge.
>
> The installation team was equally great. They were prompt, courteous, committed to delivering quality and incredibly hard-working. CJ visited our project multiple times daily throughout the installation, and the team's foreman was available to answer any questions that we had. Finally, at the end of the project, CJ walked us through the care of every plant in our new landscaping.
>
> We could not be happier with the outcome of the project, and will certainly work with Lynch Landscaping in the future. They put forward a great team, are easy to work with, and create an amazing end result. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

**★★★★★ — J R, Nov. 2021**

> From the design phase through the completion of our new patio, the Lynch team was professional, communicative and a pleasure to work with. We could not be happier with the end result and we look forward to working with them again soon.

> After receiving a recommendation from our neighbor, we reached out to Lynch to inquire about adding a new firepit to our backyard area. We are so happy we did. The entire process was easy and communication throughout the process was very helpful. I'm grateful for the new design area my family can now share together because of their help.

**★★★★★ — Matt Hamilton, April 2020**

> Lynch did an awesome job on a recent planting project for us. They were very responsive, professional and the crews are amazing! We are very happy with them and I believe they are going to do a similar project for our neighbor now. Highly recommended.

> Lunch just did some tree work for me. They were the only company of three that returned my first phone call. They promptly arrange to meet with me to view the work. They showed up on time. They gave me a great price in writing quickly after our site meeting.
> They came on time the day they said they would be there. Their workers were friendly, respectful of my property , helpful and did a thorough job. They could not have been more professional. I will be giving Lynch more work, soon.
> Thanks

> We hired Lynch Landscape and Tree Service in the Spring of 2018 to bring to life a plain and uninviting backyard and were blown away with the results! Lynch Landscaping and Tree Service prides themselves for providing "quality local service" and they pride themselves in "developing an excellent working relationship with their clients” which shined through! Their communication and response time was impeccable, something you rarely come across when trying to work with contractors. Their entire crew from the tree removal, landscape design, excavation and planting, masonry work, lighting and electrical, irrigation installation, maintenance crew, and especially the office staff were all pleasant, professional, punctual, and skilled. Without a doubt I would highly recommend Lynch Landscaping and Tree Service for your landscaping and hardscaping needs!

**★★★★★ — laura\_hutchinsoncox, Dec. 2018**

> We could not speak more highly of lynch landscaping. Sean green was our designer for our fairly extensive project - back patio, walkways and all new landscaping. We met with several others and were by far most impressed with Sean’s professionalism and creativity and reliability. I highly recommend lynch for these reasons. We are extremely happy with the quality of the project.

**★★★★★ — HU-959578390, Dec. 2018**

> We bought our house a couple years ago knowing the lot was absolutely perfect for a new pool. After two years of our kids hounding us to get the pool done, we knew it was time to finally pull the trigger. We knew what we wanted, but had no clue where to start, and went back and forth seemingly endlessly as to where to best site the pool itself. We found Lynch's profile on Houzz while looking for some inspiration, and loved what we saw, so we called to setup a consultation. Sean came out that week, and after a quick walk through of our property, our wants, and budget, it was clear we were in the right hands. Sean's understanding of entire process, and the material options gave us a lot of comfort in moving forward, and knowing what to expect. Within about week and half, Sean returned back to our home to review the design he had come up with...and we were floored! The design encapsulated everything we had wished for, and really solved our biggest challenge with the location, and flow from our existing elevated deck. Being very visual people, it was tough to fully understand the blueprints, and material combinations, but when he pulled out the 3-D renderings during his presentation, everything became so clear! We are first in line for the pool installation next Spring, and can't wait to see Sean's design come together! Our experience with Lynch has been everything we needed, and then some, and would highly recommend this company!
>
> Looking forward to posting some finished pictures next year!!!

**★★★★★ — Margie Robidoux, Dec. 2018**

> We hired Lynch in the Fall of 2017 to design our new outdoor living space with the plan of installing in the Spring of 2018. Brian was a pleasure to work with throughout the design process, and very accommodating with our needs, and more importantly, balancing our wish list and budget. We spent all Winter dreaming of our new space, constantly looking over the plans, and staying in touch with Brian with additions to the work as Spring approached. Watching Brian and his team bring the design to life was an exciting and fun experience, and we could not be any happier with the finished results! Because we were first in the queue in the Spring, we had the pleasure of enjoying the new outdoor kitchen and fireplace all Summer long with friends and family which was fantastic...and the cold weather hasn't stopped us, we spent Christmas morning roasting marshmallows fireside after opening presents with the kids!
>
> Cannot speak more highly of our experience with Lynch, and would recommend them to anyone!

**★★★★★ — Corey Everleigh, Dec. 2018**

> I have had the pleasure of working with Brian on a few projects these past couple years. Lynch Landscaping and Tree service has been great to work with from point of design to completion. They have highly skilled crews that deliver a high end product that incorporates both elements of design and construction. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for landscape services and backyard renovations.

> We are long-time customers of Lynch. We have used them for all of our landscaping needs and snow plowing for many years. We continue to be impressed with the scope of their work, continually offering new services that cater to our needs. We recently put our house on the market and have Lynch to thank for the quick selling process. They planted a new bed with trees and shrubs to block our mechanical equipment, added an irrigation zone, repaired our bluestone steps, fixed the side walkway and installed a new rear patio. We truly believe it made a huge difference in the appearance of our home/garden to potential buyers. Thank you, Lynch team! We look forward to working with you at our new home!

**★★★★★ — Kelly Wheeler, Dec. 2017**

> We have used Lynch Landscape & Tree for various projects around our home for the past several years. Regardless of the size / scope of the work we need done, we have been very happy with them! Lynch has provided routine tasks such as fall clean up and larger projects clearing trees/brush for a new fence and then grading the lawn and well as complete large tree removal. When I call to schedule work to be done, the office staff is very efficient and pleasant. Clif meets and talks to us and is very helpful and honest - he answers all of my questions (many!) and explains and goes over all of the work. Every crew is punctual, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend them for any and all landscaping and tree services!

**★★★★★ — Sam White & Sons Inc., Nov. 2017**

> Lynch Landscape & Tree Services has provided us with various small scale services throughout the years like snow removal & tree trimming. We recently hired them for a large project after rebuilding our home and were impressed from the start. The proposal was detailed and specific with clearly identified costs and plans that included photos of each proposed planting with information about how every aspect fits into our environmental habitat. Included in this project was a rebuild and extension of an existing patio. The results are beyond our expectations! The new design, improved corners and wider steps make this a place we here our family and friends will spend lots of time. The planting a in front add life to our home and we look forward to adding to our project in the future.

**Comment from Lynch Landscape and Tree Service, Inc.:**

> Thanks Jessica! It was an absolute pleasure working with you guys, and we're glad to hear your loving everything!

> I can't speak highly enough about our experience working with Brian and Lynch Landscape. We were installing a fiberglass pool and spa and needed a design plan for the entire backyard (including location of the pool, drainage, pool decking and coping, and all the landscaping and planting) and someone to implement it. Working with Brian was a pleasure! Not only were his designs spectacularly beautiful, but he paid close attention to what we asked for, incorporated everything we wanted, and was happy to work within our budget. Brian did an outstanding job finding the perfect materials for our pool decking (we were a little picky--but he was ever patient with us--and managed to find us the perfect solution!). And he oversaw the entire installation and made sure everything was perfect!
>
> During the installation phase, the team was professional and worked quickly. They were flexible with their timing (which we really appreciative because the schedule kept being modified by the pool company!), and were dedicated to creating a final product that was perfect. They were so accomodating and easy to work with, and the final product exceeded out wildest expectations! I would recommend Lynch and Brian Mulvehill without reservation!

**Comment from Lynch Landscape and Tree Service, Inc.:**

> Thanks so much, you guys were an absolute pleasure to work with as well! Can't wait to see everything this Spring/Summer!

**★★★★★ — Ann, Jan. 2016**

> It is my great pleasure to endorse Brian Mulvehill as an experienced, talented and innovative Landscape Designer with Lynch Landscaping and Tree Service. Brian managed a design build team that delivered a 1,200 square foot bluestone patio featuring New England fieldstone seating walls with built-in bronze cap wall lights, fieldstone faced stairs, custom steel grate solution, granite steps and reconstruction of an adjacent, curving red brick walkway. Six months after the completion of the patio, I hired Brian to design and install the patio plant & tree plan that features a stunning selection of boxwoods, hydrangeas, sedums and graceful ornamental grasses that transitions the new hardscape to the conservation farm fields that surround my property. Brian also worked closely with the Lynch team to manage other needs, including a lawn renovation and expansion of the irrigation system. And Brian supervised the demolition and removal of an enormous deck that was a preexisting structure on the site before the patio project began. From start to finish, Brian carried out his responsibilities in this high stakes landscape project with an almost superhuman goodwill. He and his team were always a pleasure to have around and happy to do whatever it took to get the job done. His communication skills were superb, from thorough landscape estimates, to real time responses to emails, texts and phone calls. His knowledge and experience in horticulture, garden design and landscaping best practices is impressive to this hands-on gardener. I enjoyed nursery visits with Brian to select the specimens for my planting plan, which included more than 20 unique botanicals and over 150 individual plants. Brian is a master at plant identification so you are in the best of hands if you choose to leave it all up to him. In closing, it is with gratitude for a job well done and enthusiasm for his champion professionalism that I offer Brian Mulvehill my very strongest recommendation as a leading Landscape Designer in the Greater Boston area and Metro West Boston region.

**Comment from Lynch Landscape and Tree Service, Inc.:**

> Thank you so much Ann!!! Couldn't have asked for a better customer, and love to hear your still loving the new patio space! All the best!

**★★★★★ — Katie G, Jan. 2016**

> Lynch Landscape designed and implemented a backyard patio, path, steps and a general landscape plan. I worked closely with Brian Mulvehill who was very willing to tweak and redesign certain elements until it was perfect for us. Once the work started, Brian, the crew and everyone who came out from Lynch were hardworking, respectful (they cleaned up every day and always closed fence gates) and were easy to work with (not to mention wildly entertaining for my kids). If there was ever an issue or a question, Brian and Lynch were incredibly responsive and right on top of it. Example: I didn't love the placement of a certain rock and Brian came out immediately, made sure it was removed and then worked with me to find the perfect rock (it sounds intense, but it was actually quite simple). Lynch made this project easy, which is always desirable when doing any sort of construction or remodeling. I adore our backyard and cannot wait to spend more time out there this spring! I will post pictures once the final shrubs/flowers etc. go in come the spring. Highly, highly recommended!!

**Comment from Lynch Landscape and Tree Service, Inc.:**

> Thanks so much for the kind words Katie, we really appreciate it! Can't wait for Spring to put the finishing touches in!

> As a busy single mom who takes pride in her yards’ appearance, I needed to turn to professionals for help with two very troublesome, eyesore areas.
> I contacted Lynch Landscape & Tree Service as I often see their trucks in passing. The supervisor assigned to my project was very knowledgeable, had great ideas and vision, and was a perfect gentleman. He and his crew tackled the front yard retaining wall project first. Not an easy task as the area is long, wide and sloped. The results were amazing beyond belief. The area is perfectly level and very attractive. The second area is in the backyard and is very steep. They were able to bring the entire area back to life with loam, compost and plantings. I feel so much satisfaction whenever I gaze out at the area. I am very proud of the appearance of my entire yard as it looks beautiful. Lynch has turned my property into the envy of the neighborhood.

> We’ve lived in Wayland for a number of years, and I have always tried to maintain our yard myself. We’ve toyed with the idea of bringing in a landscaping company to “take over”, but never quite got around to doing it - Boy, I wish I had done so early.

> After a particularly busy summer and several years of not quite keeping up with some more major yard projects, I reached out to Quentin at Lynch Landscape and Tree Service. He was extremely helpful in talking through everything that I wanted done: a major weeding, pruning, mulching and yard clean up, that also included the creation of new mulch beds, removing several overgrown bushes, and transplanting a few others. Quentin talked me through the process and Clif from Lynch came out the next day to see our yard and provided us with a written estimate.
>
> Once my wife and I decided to go ahead with the project, Quentin and Clif quickly scheduled a crew to come out and perform the work. When I got home from work the day the crew had been there, I was blown away how great my yard looked and how good and thorough of a job they did – I only wish I had done it earlier.
>
> Everyone I dealt with at Lynch was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive to our needs and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

> We are finishing a large remodel project at our home in Wayland. We have used Lynch in the past for various landscaping and tree needs and now are embarking on a much larger landscape design and project. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the design team and look forward to them completing our new patio, plantings/screenings and landscape to match our new home!

> A dear colleague (Brian) is a landscape designer that I have had the pleasure to work with. He has great vision and can take realize your dream landscape. I highly recommend Brian and his team from Lynch Landscape.

> After moving into our first home in the Sudbury, MA area, the thought of taking care of, let alone enhancing our new home's landscape, seemed like such a daunting task for us to handle. Unaware of who to turn to, we spoke with many of our neighbors, friends, and family in the area for recommendations on a high quality, creative, and customer friendly company to take on this challenge...all of whom responded with the same answer, "We've used Lynch Landscape and Tree Service, Inc. for the past \_ years, and couldn't be more happy!..." We called the main line where we were graciously greeted by one of their secretaries. After listening to us vent about all the things we needed to add, change, take away, and simply just take care of, she let us know we were in the right hands, and that one of their Landscape Customer Representatives would give me a call by the end of the day to schedule a time to meet and walk our property.
>
> Sure enough, we got a call back that day, and had a meeting scheduled for the following morning. We knew right away when Brent, our assigned account rep, began walking our property with us, listening, and explaining all the options and ideas he had for our property, that we had definitely made the right decision to follow everyone's recommendation! Within a week, he had their tree crew out to remove the hazardous trees around our yard, and opened up our surrounding tree canopy to let more sunlight in for our lawn. Then came our new foundation plantings, bluestone walkways, bluestone, patio, and of course, a newly installed, pristine lawn! : )
>
> Since the first year of our landscape overhaul, the Lynch team has taken care of our property as if it were the White House! Our lawn stands out every year in our neighborhood with its weedless, emerald green beauty, and our trees and shrubs always in tip top shape. They've come out on the drop of a dime several times now to get our place looking spectacular with seasonal color, crisp mowing lines, and fresh mulch for our parties and gatherings.
>
> And now, as if they weren't already full service enough, they have an in-house Landscape Designer! This past year we put a pool in, and Brian worked with us from start to finish on all the design concepts. He was a pleasure to work with, and he really helped in coordinating with the pool company, and running the project in an amazingly efficient manner. We got to experience the true craftsmanship of all the lynch crews having seen the Masons, the planting teams, and the irrigation team who converted nearly all of our planting beds to drip, saving us thousands on our water bill. The end result...flawless! An absolutely stunning backyard retreat that my family & friends will enjoy for years to come. Our kids couldn't be more happy, their friends couldn't be more happy, and us...well, we get to sit back and relax at our poolside kitchen/bar!
>
> All in all, the Lynch team has gone well above and beyond for us every year, with amazing service, communication, and fair pricing. They are up front about everything they do, and their attention to detail is unrivaled in our area. We would recommend Lynch Landscape and Tree Service for ANY landscape project, of ANY size!

> We hired Brian at Lynch Landscape to provide us with a master plan for our yard with an overall design for plantings, landscape, and hardscape. Our goal was to use this plan to then undertake bite size chunks as we couldn't afford to do everything at once. Brian was very responsive, took time to listen to how we use and enjoy our outdoor space. We went thru a couple of iterations to get to the final plan and he was receptive to our feedback. We chose as our first project an expansion of our existing patio and the installation of a gas firepit. There was some landscaping work with this as well. The entire Lynch team couldn't have been more professional, friendly, and hardworking. We are thrilled with the outcome of this first phase. And importantly, there were no surprises on timing or budget. The team showed up when promised and the final bill was exactly as budgeted. We can't wait to work with Brian and the entire Lynch team again. And our neighbors are jealous!

> Lynch Landscaping has worked for us for almost 30 years, and they have grown as our needs have grown. Mike Lynch, the founder, and his top team work with their crews - this is not only family-owned and run, but they are there, on the ground and in the weeds! At the same time, this is a very professional, full-service company. They take care of our lawn, irrigation, garden beds, trees, driveway, gutters, plowing and fencing - anything we need is done promptly and done well. They give us extra special attention for our events that have included outdoor engagement parties. They take special pride in the excellent care they provide for our mini orchard of apples and pears and a range of specimen trees - maple, elm, cherry, hemlock, cedar, arbor vitae and pine. Our property is magnificent thanks to them.

> Brian and his team did a fantastic job working with us to get us the front yard we wanted. He was happy to come out several times, and we go back and forth with us on the proposed design. Installation (as well as removal of old shrubs) was completed in a single day and it looks beautiful. Prices were broken out to the individual plant level so it was easy to see what we were getting and what we were paying for. Brian is very responsive and always takes the time to explain any questions we have. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful yard.

> We've owned in Wayland for about 5 years and are relocating out of state. We haven't given our property much landscaping TLC...so we called Lynch to spruce it up and prepare the house/property to go on the market. This all happened very fast and when I called the office and talked to Quentin...he said they would get out to us the very next day!
>
> 7AM the next morning the crew arrived, went to work and didn't stop until our property was immaculate. Mike, the owner of the company, was onsite all day guiding his crew...a true pro, his attention to detail was incredible! They covered everything...weeding, trimming, edging, tree pruning, mulching...they even brought in and strategically placed perennial shrubs and flowers! Honestly, our property looks amazing, it's the best money I've spent in a long time and my only regret is that I didn't call Lynch when we moved in 5 years ago!
>
> I've seen a lot of landscaping trucks driving around town and there is obviously a lot of competition and options...but Lynch is hands down the best. If you live in MetroWest, they are THE landscaping company to go to...a must.

## Community Q&A

**Q: What is the patio material you’ve used here? Lovely!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Looking for something similar for our outdoor space.

A: The patio is blue mist granite. Glad you like it!

**Q: sandy** *(in Photo Questions)*

hi am looking to redo my landscaping. how do i reach tou guys?

A: Hi Sandy, thank you so much for your interest in our work! We'd love the opportunity to hear more about your project/s. You can reach our office at (978) 443-2626, or email us through the link on our home page. Looking forward to hearing from you and all the best!

**Q: Pavers** *(in Photo Questions)*

What material are they and how are they installed?

A: Hi Audra,

Thanks so much for your interest in this photo! The material used in this patio is Thermal Bluestone (multi-size, random pattern).
For all of our patios, we excavate (on average) to a depth of about 8-10", some times more, sometimes, less... really you are just looking to get to sub-grade material with no moisture trapping organic matter...a sandy/gravely mix generally. This is in order to prevent frost heaves in our New England Winters.
Once excavation is complete, we begin by putting down a layer of filter fabric followed by a series of compacted aggregates. In cases where we have to excavate deeper than the norm, we install a layer of 3/4" crushed stone, compacted in 3" lifts until we reach roughly 6" from finished elevation. From there, we install another layer of fabric, followed by roughly 6" of perk pack (crushed stone, stone dust mix), and compact in 3" lifts. The final step of the base preparation is to then install a 1-2" sand setting bed for which the bluestone is laid and set into.
With base preparation now complete, the bluestone comes next. Bluestone, like many manufactured pavers, can be laid in many different ways. For a more modern contemporary finish, you may want to contemplate a linear pattern. If you're more traditional, it can be laid either by a set pattern, or randomly to your liking as seen in the photo above. Similarly, the joints (voids between slabs/pavers), can be completed however you prefer...really tight, or evenly/consistently spaced to your preference.
Once the bluestone has been laid, we make any final cuts per the design, and then install a pave-lock edging which is secured with metal spikes.
The final step is to install your jointing material...whether it be sand, stone dust, or the preferred polymeric sand. The polymeric sand can be tricky, and must be done with care or all that hard work will go to waste. Once it's been swept in, you MUST clean all surfaces of all leftover material...and spend the extra time to make sure it's everything is as clean as possible...then water it all in (lightly to prevent material from bubbling out). The curing process is generally 24 hours. Be sure the temperatures are sufficient for proper curing, and that there is no rain in the forecast! (read your labels before installing).

Hope this helps, and if you are in our area, we'd love the opportunity to come check out your prospective project : )

All the best!

**Q: Desperately Seeking Curb Appeal** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I have recently purchased this mid-century home and it desperately needs curb appeal. And where is the front door you ask? That's the problem! Please give your input on colors and a way to draw attention to the entry way. Maybe an awning. Sketches would be awesome! The windows were replaced before I purchased and they are vinyl so not sure they can be painted. Not replacing roof or gutters and it's the original front door and hardware so would prefer to keep it. Cutting the giant oaks down is also not an option at this point.

A: Hello snapg73, we love your' home and have a few ideas that you might be able think about. We definitely agree with apple\_pie in getting some nice, contemporary oversized house numbers. This would be a great, inexpensive way to bring some more character to the front of the house. Additionally, if you want to go for an even more updated look, how about not just changing the siding color, but the brick too!? Maybe go with a two toned warm gray combination between the siding and brick, and swap out the rot iron railing for something more contemporary like a post and cable type setup.
I'd then think about either painting the brick planters as well, or adding a new texture to the front facade by going with a smooth gray cement, or stucco finish and create a modern, contemporary, industrial type feel. From there, I'd simplify the plantings and get rid of the ground cover hiding the planters to help soften things back up and keep that warm and inviting feel. To further warm things up, some stained woodwork details would really bring the house to life, whether it's the Garage door, or front door, or both!

In terms of lighting, we'd recommend some new contemporary wall lighting over the garage and house numbers to give the face of the house some depth, and life at night. Given the large empty brick wall in the middle of the home, maybe add a small ornamental tree to be highlighted there, maybe a Seiryu Japanese Maple!? Check out these sketches, and hope this helps!

**Q: What is the pool filter/cleaning system? TY** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is this a salt water, regular chemicals, or Eco-Smarte pool?

A: Hi Kathy, I apologize, but I am actually not certain about the specifics of the pool itself. We handled the design and siting of the pool & decking, as well as all the landscaping.

**Q: Pretty! What type of plant is hanging at the edge of the patio? TY** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thanks Kathy! The climbing vine you're referring to is Wisteria
