**Q: Fireplace makeover advice needed!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My fireplace is the focal point of our great room. First of all... Yes, the TV has to stay. We do not have a family room, and the layout of the great room does not accommodate a TV anywhere else but over the fireplace. I was thinking stacked stone for the fireplace, but how far do you think it should go up? Or maybe there is better choice than stacked stone? I recently remodeled my kitchen, which is on the opposite side of the fireplace. Due to the open concept design, things need to compliment each other without being too matchy, matchy. For example, I have quartz countertops that simulate Carrera marble, but maybe marble fireplace tiles would be too much. I like a mix of modern and tasteful farm/county.  Any comments and suggestions are appreciated!

A: I like the stacked stone idea. Go up to the overhang and stop there. A grey stone or quartz product would look good! As an afterthought some LED pot lights in the overhang would make a very cool effect.

**Q: Help moving the bathroom door** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Help!  I just moved into this house w/quite a large bedroom but the entrance to the bathroom is right smack in the middle.  It's bad "feng shui" (yes, I'm one of those) to place the bed in front of the door/mirror.  I want to move the door and remodel the bathroom but have no ideas how.  To the right of the door is the shower and tub.  I want to get rid of the standup shower and maybe put cabinets there, and make the bath-tub area a shower.  To the left is the closet.  Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease help.

A: What is in the square area on the other side of walls between the tub and the shower? Is that a hall closet? If you can go through there I like the idea of removing the shower to put a door there.
