> Recently I purchased a poorly built 2 family home in Avalon.  Steve at Studio One was terrific!!  Steve raised our house,  added a third floor of living space, and a garage and store room underneath.  But, my favorite feature is the "man cave" he designed under the sunroom.  We can watch TV and be in the shade while only steps from the bay!  The main challenge was stopping the noise between each unit, and Studio One came up with a solution that has worked perfectly.  I can not thank you enough!!

> I give Studio One Architects (SOA) "5-stars" because they were an excellent balance of professionalism (design/business-like) and personality (supportive, creative, genuine).  SOA did an outstanding job of transforming our ideas (many that included pictures from Houzz) into a reality as we built our vacation home.  We interviewed 3 architectural firms and we chose SOA because we sensed that they "listened to us" and could deliver a design that reflected our imagination.  The other firms pretended to listen but clearly had a pre-set design in mind. Our initial impressions were proven right --- SOA worked hard to not provide a cookie-cutter or a self-centered design. In addition, SOA not only met all our cosmetic artistic wants, but SOA provided excellent practical design work with highly detailed building plans. Also, SOA is very knowledgeable about local ordinances which are highly complex and always changing since it is a waterfront community --- plus SOA knows the government officials and builders well and that was a huge help navigating the design, building and approvals processes.  Our project was a a 2 year project and SOA consistently performed outstanding work from start to finish through all phases of the project.  SOA was always responsive and went the extra mile to help us during our complex project. We moved in at MAY 2016 and the compliments are great about the design that is special --- unique and yet fits into the neighborhood in a positive way! Studio One Architects - SOA - are highly recommended.
