> I hired California Cabinets for a large kitchen and stone project. The job was promised in 3–4 weeks but dragged on for months, with workers frequently failing to show. Subcontractors arrived intoxicated, damaged our bar countertop and backsplash, and refused to use protective coverings, leaving us thousands of dollars in cleaning costs. Materials I paid for — including cabinet doors and panels — were taken away and never returned.
