He may have underestimated the size of my actual job because I was starting him off with $10k of work just to see how sharp and trustworthy he was. He did know that I was doing far more in terms of remodeling, and I never gave any sort of indication that I would be doing any more or less. I treated him and his excellent crew well as guests in home and when he did show up, everything was OK. He ditched me for a larger job and never even cared to follow back up to resume the job at home that he left undone. Totally unprofessional and disappointing considering how nice he is and how talented his crew is. Just bad business.
