She later founded K2 Interior Designs in order to connect and work more closely with her clients. “I caught the design “bug” early in life from my Mom, whose idea of a good time was taking me to open houses and playing with wallpaper books. Soon swiping paint chips from the local hardware store was a regular pastime. My first career was as a social researcher. When I realized graduate school was in my near future and it was either a PhD in Sociology or a design degree, design sounded much more fun!
