> I wish I could give Maryann 50 stars - she is AMAZING! She helped us with a major yard overhaul which involved turning our overgrown jungle into an actual usable yard, a job which was complicated by a steep grade our yard had. We'd talked with several people (and even worked with another designer) who just could not envision the job. Maryann, however, turned our yard into something even better than we could've imagined. She truly listened to our concerns & goals and was able to think outside the box and come up with solutions to tricky situations (e.g. at least 5 others said we'd need to add a huge amount of dirt to our yard to level out the 5' difference in slope - this was near impossible to do due to drainage issues & would've added a significant cost & looked really weird. Maryann was the only one who suggested we dig down in one end of our yard and move the dirt to the other to level out - this was the PERFECT solution).

She struck an amazing balance between truly listening to us (and not pushing her own agenda - she doesn't have one, which I've found is not usually the case) and also suggesting different ideas based on her expertise. Another thing I really appreciated about her is that she has a breadth of experience across the DIY and high-end spectrum. She was able to suggest what made sense to spend money on, and where we could potentially do something ourselves or find a more affordable alternative. I find this is a rare quality. I loved working with her and wholeheartedly recommend her. She's a great listener, has incredible outside-the-box ideas and gets fantastic results. I am forever grateful to her!

> Maryann was great to work with - she listened to what I wanted and worked to incorporate my personal style/preferences. She went above and beyond in ensuring the work was completed and even jumped in to help out herself (in addition to managing the overall work). She was flexible as things changed throughout the course of the project, she provided a great roadmap at the start (her landscape design was lovely!), and she was very knowledgeable about what plants/landscape was needed specific to my yard and concerns (water issues, etc). I would definitely recommend her!
