Initially, I thought he wouldn't honor the warranty and left a one star review but I was wrong. The guy is professional and honorable. Don't be afraid to use him for anything you need done.

> We contracted with Dan's company to build us a lower deck with stairs leading to an upper deck with a tiki hut and balcony.  IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND WE LOVE IT!!!! It was built exactly as we had planned.

> We signed a contract for a swimming pool installation.  During the quote process, we were given an estimate that our pool would be installed in July.  Everything was fast-tracked during the sales process.  As soon as we paid the contract and deposit, however, communication and activity slowed to a crawl.

> I had Dan the Tiki Man install a 20' x 25' Tiki. I paid them extra to have the Tiki sprayed for bugs and upgraded to a varnish finish on the inside. Shortly after they finished the Tiki I noticed white droppings all over my patio furniture, it looks like termite droppings. I called the salesman who was assigned to me to find out what was going on. He never came out to see the problem he just told me that according to Dan the owner I had Powder Post Beatles and I had to get my Tiki exterminated. I explained to him that I had paid them an extra fee to avoid this problem. He said that Dan told him that there was nothing he could do about it. He then gave me the telephone number of an exterminator so I could get the Tiki Sprayed. The exterminator sprayed the Tiki at at cost to me of $250.00 and the bugs did not go away. I then called another exterminator and he said that because Dan had varnished the tiki the spray would not pernitrate the wood and would be ineffective. He told me that if they sprayed the wood before it arrived to me then it was not done properly and since he varnished it the only way to eliminate the Bugs is to tent the Tiki and gas it. The gas used to kill these bugs is very expensive and the cost would be around $3000.00. I then bypassed the salesman and called Dan directly. He told me the only thing he could do is have his guys come out and respray the Tiki again. They called me to setup the respray date and told me to remove everything from under the tiki. I removed everything from under the tiki and they made me wait almost 6 weeks to come do the respray. They kept telling me that they were dong this as a curtesy and I had to wait. Finally they resprayed the tiki mid December 2020. I cleaned all the loose wood dust debris from in between all the palm fauns with a blower. two weeks later at the beginning of January the dust was back. I called Dan and he told me to give it another 2 weeks to see if it goes away. I waited another two weeks and the bugs were still there. I called Dan again around January 15 and made him an offer. I told him instead me paying $3000.00 to tent the tiki, could we just replace the palm fauns and I would pay half the cost. He refused and said he would have someone else respray the tiki. Well its been another 4 weeks and I have not heard from Dan or anyone else in his Company. Dan has yet to come out here to see the problem (but he did come out here to get the Job). When I talk to him there is no sense of important to my problem. It seems like he just doesn't care. He is just out to get the next job, who cares about customer service. I see all the great reviews he has. I also checked them out when I was deciding who to give the job to. But a company isn't measured by good reviews it measured by not having bad reviews. Anyone can do a good job from time to time, now can they step up when there

> Dan and his crew did a great job replacing my 20x20 tiki hut. I had called 3 companies but Dan's price was the best, and he came out the next day to meet me. His crew was in and out. They did the repair while we were at work. Everything was cleaned up. What I liked most was that he sprayed the thatch a week after they finished the job. This is my third rethatch because of holes from bugs. Dan educated us on treating it, so it isn't as bad a problem this time around. Hoping to get at least 5 yrs wear v 3, this time around.
