## Community Q&A

**Q: What color should the shutters be??** *(in Design Dilemma)*

This is our new Dutch colonial and I'm trying to pick shutters colors that give it a bit of color while not taking away from how darn cute this house is! Built in 1930 btw.  Thoughts??

A: I vote grey for sure. It is classic and timeless.

**Q: How do you feel about vinyl instead of leather on french chairs?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Originally the chairs were upholstered in suede but I want to give them an updated look to lend a little excitement to a monochromatic room. Thanks

A: The chairs need restuffing and I would go with fabric for a more contemporary look. You could even do the back one fabric and the seat a complimentary fabric.
