is there really health benefits when using these lamps?

A: Yes. When you switch from normal lamps and lights, you will begin to notice the benefits immediately. The chiefest among these is the color of the light that is produced by salt lamps. Its a much longer wavelength light in the orange-red-pink spectrum than light emitted by normal lamps. This has pronounced benefits especially in the evening, as it helps in Melatonin production which is discussed in this article.
