For this job, we wanted to hire the work out, but wanted to make sure that whomever we hired, they would do as good of a job, if not better, than what I would/could do myself. > > We are new to the state and had no clue who to hire for our tile job (Kitchen, pantry, laundry, entry, closet) and received several names from our tile provider (MTS). After receiving quotes from a few of the recommendations, my wife and I decided on ASA contracting. They were not cheapest bid, but they sold us on how they planned to do the install and the credibility and confidence that they exhumed when we first met and discussed the project and our expectations. > > Andy and Sarah are both very laid back individuals...but are both very hard workers. I had a small (yet tedious) tile job that required great attention to detail and multiple visits. I was warned that I would have a hard time finding someone to complete my job in a timely manner. I called Sarah and Andy and explained my dilemma. They came out promptly, within days, to Afton, MN (over an hour away). They were extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgable. They carefully chipped away at some existing floor tile so that the in-floor heating cable could be reinstalled. They then re-leveled the floor, lay down new tile and grouted. HELP! Photo first in comments** *(in Design Dilemma)* We are renovating this bathroom and gutting it in its entirety but my husband will not touch this wall. He loves it. Please help me figure out a tile for shower/floor and also a vanity that compliments (HA!) not competes. Photo in comments. It wouldn't let me upload anywhere else. A: I do! I've attached some photos from an online search just to help you visualize. I understand they are not the exact fieldstone as you have existing in your home, but the concept of pulling a lighter color from the stone (be it creams or grays) is there.
