**★★★★★ — Marie Marisa, Sept. 2024**

> Faye assisted me in thinking through my home space and how I could transform it. We redesigned functional space by removing walls, adding an island, and we talked through all what would be needed to make it ours! From taking time to “step” into the space (foyer, kitchen, living room and adjacent sitting room) and envisioning a much improved use of space Faye offered some of the best advise! She has a beautiful eye for design and aesthetic.
> Taking her notes back with her, she wrote out a plan of changes down to all the smallest details. Such as the size table and \# of chairs we could get for the newly created dining area.
> I would highly recommend Faye for any home or office project you might be considering undertaking. With the help of the professional she is, your design details and all the necessary elements your project will need are clearly and thoroughly considered.

**Comment from Faye Smith Interior Design:**

> Thanks, Marie! Your lake house is quite the oasis for your busy family! So glad I could help!

**★★★★★ — Mary Claire H, Jan. 2023**

> Faye is absolutely amazing! She treated this project as if it were her own home and her passion for excellence came shining through! Faye's attention to the smallest details is extraordinary. She truly cares that the design experience as well as the end-user experience is second to none. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement. Faye has a unique ability to capture a vision and then produce something better than the vision or anything we could have imagined ourselves. We could not be happier with Faye's skills, expertise, tenacity, and dedication. Not to mention her warm and fun personality that make working with her so wonderful!

**Comment from Faye Smith Interior Design:**

> Thanks so much, Mary Claire! We are also so pleased with how this retreat new-build turned out, with each bedroom warm and inviting! All of your staff was a pleasure to work with.

**★★★★★ — Sam Downe, Jan. 2023**

> Faye made the entire design process (vision, budget, strategy, communication) efficient and enjoyable. She is punctual, professional, attentive, responsive, respectful, and more! She desires to see and embrace your vision for your home/space and doesn't push her own agenda. I HIGHLY recommend her!

**Comment from Faye Smith Interior Design:**

> Thank you, Sam! New builds can be stressful, but your team handled everything with grace and patience. I'm looking forward to working with you again!

**★★★★★ — Pastor Jeff & Cyndi Wickwire, Sept. 2020**

> Faye is absolutely AMAZING! She delivered everything I wanted! She’s not only geniusly gifted, with an artistic flair, she envisions everything completed before she does her magic! Faye listened to every detail of my colors & style I hoped to bring our church Conference/Pastor’s office. Her suggestions are amazing & offers quality furniture and art pieces. People ask me what is your most favorite thing about your office’s new look? I really have a hard time choosing one specific thing because I love it all so much! I was very impressed however, by her decorative touch, her design not just of the room but of the Collage wall of Pictures and color panels. The entire room is breathtaking! I also love how she uniquely framed my husbands books that he authored. I get so many compliments! When one company failed to deliver, Faye worked hard to find a replacement. And what she found was even better than the first! I’m moving into a new home and plan to use her again! Thanks Faye!

**Comment from Faye Smith Interior Design:**

> Thank you, Cyndi! It was a pleasure working with you, and I'm so happy you're pleased!

**★★★★★ — Hannah Eads, Sept. 2019**

> My husband and I renovated our kitchen and various other parts of our house and used Faye Smith as our designer. She was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Not only was she flexible and responsive, her pricing was extremely fair and transparent. Her eye for color and material was on point and she presented me with a lot of options that I would have been lost in trying to find by myself. Faye is an excellent communicator and no issue with answering any questions I had whether it be over email, text or phone call. We will definitely be using Faye for any other projects we come across and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for design services.

**★★★★★ — Bradley Jones, Jan. 2019**

> Faye did an excellent job of developing and implementing a modern and sleek office waiting room. She located and installed all the furniture and artwork.

**Comment from Faye Smith Interior Design:**

> Dr. Jones' new office was a blank slate just waiting for a modern aesthetic with high functionality and flexibility. It was fun to design around the Aggie maroon wall! Gig 'em!

**★★★★★ — Jennifer Hewitt, Sept. 2018**

> Faye has helped me with a remodel and the design selections were beautiful! I found Faye on HOUZZ and never had selected a designer. For me, Faye made the process simple. What once seemed overwhelming, Faye took step by step and was not pushy. We are a family with children with a casual way of living. She presented options inside of our budget and let us do the final picking. We asked her to stretch our tastes a bit and Faye gave us things we would not have considered but still fit into our overall scheme. I now have a home that I love and feel comfortable in. Guest come over and rave! I wished I could take the credit! I've recommended Faye to friends and family -- if you've never used a designer before; you should give Faye a try. **★★★★★ — Patrick Lynch, June 2017**

> Faye Smith is an amazing designer and even better person. We undertook a massive design project together and she delivered on every front, vision, execution and budget as well as added in special touches that were over and above my expectations!!! I would recommend Faye to anyone and everyone who is seeking that special designer!!!

**Comment from Faye Smith Interior Design:**

> Thank you, Patrick! It was my pleasure, and I'd love to work with you on any future projects.

**★★★★★ — Karen Gavin, Feb. 2017**

> Faye helped me choose carpet and paint colors - a rather limited scope but I enjoyed working with her and plan to use her again for future projects. She is very personable, responsive and seems to be very good at blending what I like with what is "current".

**Comment from Faye Smith Interior Design:**

> Hi Karen!
> Thank you for your kind words! I look forward to working with you again in your beautiful home!
> Faye

**★★★★★ — Todd Terry, Feb. 2017**

> Faye is an amazing person who loves what she does. She has a great eye for both traditional and contemporary design. I have witnessed this in the design work on her own personal residence which captures the best of both of worlds. She has seamlessly accented areas of the home with a more modern design without losing the inherent charm of the 1930s structure.

**Comment from Faye Smith Interior Design:**

> Thanks Todd! Sure do appreciate your eye for detail and for all the client referrals! You and Anna are dear friends, for sure!

**★★★★★ — Rhonda Ray, Jan. 2017**

> I have worked with Faye on a few projects and she is so talented and easy to work with! She has an eye for detail and design. I would love the opportunity to work with her again!

**Comment from Faye Smith Interior Design:**

> Thank you, Rhonda! I always look forward to working with you! Your expertise in closet layout and how you digitally display it is so easy for the clients to understand and picture! You're the best! Looking forward to another project together, friend!

**★★★★★ — Ellis Buckley, Jr., Sept. 2016**

> Faye completed four projects at my house covering about 90% of my square footage. She converted my 1980's average house with wood panelling to a show stopper surprise when you enter my home. After spending time with me, her design choices exceeded anything I could have imagined. The team she has assembled are true artists and extreme craftsmen. What could be an overwhelming task of selection and decisions, Faye made very painless. For a single guy that is a good thing. Faye is top notch. I still cannot believe the home I have now. It is fun to see guests faces when they enter and it is all due to Faye Smith. I was very pleased with the timeframe of each project. We stayed very close to budget. Any overages were due to a change I requested.

**Comment from Faye Smith Interior Design:**

> Ellis,
> Working with you was such a pleasure. We really made a great team with the selections! Thank you for trusting me with your home's new redesign! I agree that it's a refreshing surprise as you enter!
> Faye

## Community Q&A

**Q: Which color to eliminate from the palette?** *(in Paint)*

I need to choose the interior paint for our new house. We can have about 3 wall colors. The trim and ceilings will be Greek Villa. The main living areas will be Agreeable Gray but I haven't been able to settle on two other coordinating colors to use elsewhere (bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry). Sherwin-Williams is not currently doing color samples but I do have a few peel-and -stick samples that don't seem big enough to give me a good idea. I have settled on Mineral Deposit for the master bedroom. So..... 1. Which of these colors would go best in a master bath with Mineral Deposit on the bedroom walls? And...... 2. Which color do I eliminate? Thanks in advance for the help!

A: I found Mineral Deposit pretty but too dark and Sea Salt too light and too green. I combined them 50/50 and that color is a perfect seaglass tone.

**Q: Dimensions of Island** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi what are the dimensions of the island? It looks 4x10’

A: To me, the island color looks very similar to Ben Moore's Smoke Gray 2120-40.

**Q: what is the length and width of your table?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the length and width of your table?

A: Thanks for the question. The table was custom made and smaller than normal because of spatial constraints. It measures 26"w x 72"long.

**Q: What is the stain colors on the cabinets? Beautiful!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thanks for the question. The cabinets are a custom finish. They're made of paint grade wood, and we began with a mahogany stain, then a layer of Spanish Moss stain, then an oil stain made to the BM color Revere Pewter, then aged by antiquing it. Each layer was rubbed back a lot with rags, so it took a lot of muscle.

**Q: Tabletop** *(in Photo Questions)*

I'm looking to replace a glass tabletop with a wood one like this. Can you tell me what type of wood this is and where I might be able to find one?

A: Beautiful kitchen! Where are the rattan end dining chairs from?

**Q: Can you tell me what is on the walls?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: What stain did you put on the walnut walls? Did it also have a sealer?
