> Jon and I have collaborated on several projects over the past eight years.  He is one of the most interior-minded architects I have encountered, and truly does consider the effects of his designs inside and out.  He also has a beautiful way of working with people, which creates a lot of trust and comfort with his clients.  People hire him again and again, which is proof that he delivers architecture as well as customer service.  For me, Jon has been a great collaborator in the past and I'm sure he will be again in the future.

**Q: Paint colour** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the main paint colour please

A: The shingles are Maibec white cedar factory finished with bleaching oil and a light gray weathering stain.  This treatment ensures an even weathered gray appearance from installation until the shingles turn their natural gray over 12 - 24 months.

**Q: cabinet size** *(in Photo Questions)*

what is the height of the upper cabinets?

A: The existing ceilings in this part of this historic home are 7'-0".  I believe the upper cabinets are 30" high.

**Q: Love the Mermaid! Where did you pick that up?** *(in Photo Questions)*

That Mermaid would be great on our little beach cottage>>>

A: The owner purchased the mermaid from a local antique shop.  It can't say if it is one-of-a-kind, but I suspect it would be difficult to find one just like it.

**Q: Wall paint colour?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I have natural oak floors and I think the colour on the walls look great.

A: Quartersawn white oak flooring.  No stain.  Three coats clear oil based polyurethane finish.

**Q: Garage doors** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where can I buy the garage doors? Who makes them?

A: I believe the photos were taken about 8 months after installation.

**Q: Do you know the name of the paint that was used for the siding? Thank you very much.** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I believe the side entry and garage doors are painted Benjamin Moore HC-155 Newburyport Blue. The Ben Moore Historical Color palette includes several darker colors that work well for windows and doors on traditional style homes. Newburyport Blue, Townsend Harbor Brown, Hadley Red, and Tarrytown Green (just to name a few) contain enough color to give designs some pop, while also containing enough black to recede with the glass of window and door openings.
