> Initially, I told Dana that I wanted to hire her services on a consultation basis; I was looking for guidance on redoing our living room, but needed to keep the budget tight.  Dana worked with me to shop for items which looked very high end, but could be purchased from more affordable stores/websites.  We reupholstered the furniture to make it "our own" and to fit in with the style my husband and I were going for.    Dana clearly understood the look we were going for and always had our home on her mind when she was looking at websites or shopping in stores, sending me photos of things as she came across them.  Throughout the project, she was readily available via text, phone or email if I had a quick question and always made sure we were happy with each piece.  If it didn't work- it didn't stay!  We now have a completely redone "beachy" living room that we love and will be continuing to use Dana's services as we redo the rest of our home in phases.  Overall, I would highly recommend Dana Lauren Designs for any project, no matter the size.

A: so sorry for my delay in responding!! this was custom made from barclay buttera.  it was a baker piece that was sized down to fit a smaller space.

A: these were purchased from barclay buttera in 2009.  if you show them a picture they may be able to help you find them

A: the light is from visual comfort. the walls and ceiling are grass cloth, not paint.  thank you!

Beautifully done room.  Can you describe the material and source for the rug,  Nice clean detail.

A: the rug is actually a carpet i had sized and bordered.  contact victor at contempo carpets in los angeles and he will give you specifics.
