**★★★★★ — Roberta Blue, July 2023**

> The Emma Delon team helped me renovate a kitchen and three bathrooms. I worked especially closely with Monica Hyde. I cannot imagine doing a project of this size without their guidance and expertise. They paid close attention to what inspired me and then helped narrow down the incredible array of choices by creating palettes with the various materials involved. Through years of experience, they know what works and what doesn’t and I’m sure helped prevent me from making costly mistakes. They also have great relationships with many of the vendors.
>
> Emma Delon remained very involved during the construction phase. It gave me great peace of mind to have Monica stop by on a regular basis to check on progress or answer questions. When a problem arose, she responded quickly and worked with the Emma Delon team to be sure it was solved to my satisfaction. Always calm and professional, Monica stayed in constant touch with the project manager and the construction supervisor behind the scene.
>
> In the end, I am delighted with the final results. The renovated rooms truly reflect the vision I had but couldn’t have achieved without their guidance. I recommend Emma Delon highly and hope to work with them again on future projects.

> The team at emma delon was so accomodating to work with, from the initial consult through a bathroom upgrade during a pandemic.
> Always prompt with meetings, answers to my questions, changes in my decisions as we went through the budget process to narrow things down.
> The advice about colors and materials was spot on and I love the design we created in the end. Our bathroom was original to the house built in the mid-80s. The shower was the main need for the project but we are so happy we took up the linoleum and builders-grade vanity. I
>
> The companies they recommended were always professional and true to their word (except for one in the end that jacked up a price with no warning). In that instance, the team quickly found an alternative that was in line with my design and still within my budget.
> We did many of our site visits through technology apps and phone calls because of Covid-19, but knew we were always in good hands.
>
> I loved the contractor that we worked with and can't thank them enough, either. We knew we were taking a risk by starting the demo just as the state was about to shut down to flatten the curve. We decided jointly that we okay with stopping mid-way rather than waiting to start at an unknown time in the future. In the end, our small project was never an inconvenience as we have another bathroom.
>
> I'm happy that we chose the emma delon team for our first major bath upgrade after being a fan of their Instagram page for quite a long time.

> emma delon already has a great reputation, and our experience with the group actually far exceeded our already high expectations. They did a Kitchen/Laundry Room remodel that arranged space in a way that has turned out to be extraordinarily utilitarian and aesthetically pleasing from every angle. They also updated the main bathroom in a creative way that has created what feels like a brand new, fresh space. In addition to being wonderful designers, the service was extraordinary. They did not miss a trick! They worked with Jay Buckley on this project and that relationship was seamless! All the way around, a great outcome for our home, and we highly recommend emma delon to anyone.

> The team at Emma Delon was INVALUABLE to me as we renovated a relatively small master bath and closet area. They helped with every step of the way from pleasing and efficient design to providing several contractor suggestions to material selection. They were always attentive, fun to work with and happy to answer any of my questions. Couldn't have done it without them and I recommend them highly.

> I used emma delon to renovate two bathrooms, a laundry room and a kitchen. Caroline and her team were great to work with - Caroline is a wonderful designer and she was extremely helpful and creative in all of my projects. I was very pleased with the end result and would not hesitate to use her services again in the future.

**★★★★★ — J C, July 2018**

> Emma Delon designed our renovated kitchen and worked with our contractor to insure construction went as planned and all the details were perfect! Highly recommend this quality team.

**★★★★★ — Kathleen Joyce, June 2018**

> We have worked with Caroline and her team on many projects over the years. They are always wonderful to work with and are extremely thorough in all aspects from project management to small details. They are attentive to the customers needs and ideas. Everyone at Emma Delon is very knowledgeable and professional. > We have worked with emma delon for several years, and have always found their professionalism, attention to detail, and design acumen to be amazing! Strongly recommended

**★★★★★ — lucy haagen, June 2018**

> We were one of Caroline's first customers in NC. She designed a kitchen remodel for us and we appreciated her expertise but also her collaborative spirit that made her able to help us realize our design/aesthetic goals while also gaining functionality. She also helped us stay within a tight budget.

**★★★★★ — Mary Kaiser, June 2018**

> Caroline Shillito was extremely helpful in remodeling my kitchen. I could not have done it without her help along with her assistant, Monica Hyde. Caroline is a skilled designer and has an excellent sense of color. She was able to find a contractor for the project and keep him on track. She found an electrician when the contractor had called all his contacts. Caroline knows the staff at all the vendors; granite, tile, plumbling, and cabinetry. Caroline is calm, collected, and extremely well organized. She and her staff did a fantastic job.

**★★★★★ — Michael Tuck, June 2018**

> I have been in the kitchen and bath industry for 25+ years and have worked with many designers over the years. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Caroline & her staff! She is one of the top professionals in the business! Their attention to detail will surely make your project as perfect as you could ever imagine! I look forward to working with this team on many more projects well into the future! I know that if you choose them to oversee your project you will too!

**★★★★★ — Betsy Hamilton, June 2018**

> Very easy to work with. Caroline was prompt and very organized. She listened to what I wanted and did not impose "a look". Practical but creative. I would definitely use again.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Love the sconce** *(in Photo Questions)*

Who makes theses lights?

A: Thanks! I am not sure if this particular bathroom light is still available as we did this project a few years ago but you should be able to find someting similar from Inoovations Lighting - https://www.innovationslighting.com/lighting-fixtures/bathroom-fixtures?limitRange=192

**Q: What size tub is this?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Tub size?

A: Thanks for asking - this is the American Standard Cadet tub - 66" x 32" size

**Q: Would you mind sharing the dimensions of this wet room?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I would love to know the dimensions of the wet room. Thanks!

A: Thanks for aksing - the wet room is 74.5" wide x 104.125" long

**Q: What color are the cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I know this post is from years ago, but I have this granite in my kitchen - looking to update my current honey oak cabinets in a rather dark kitchen! Thanks!

A: Thanks for your question! We used the standrad warm white that the cabinet company offered. I am not sure if there is a sherwin williams or ben moore direct match unfrotunately. Thanks again!

**Q: Cabinet color please** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you help?Need a creamy color to paint my cabinets. Do you know the paint color?

A: Thanks for your question! The paint color used for this project was specific to the cabinet line they were using. It unfortunately isn't a Benjamin Moore/ Sherwin William type color name/number.

**Q: tile floor details** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love the floor you put in the wet room. Can you tell me what they are and where to find them?

A: Thanks for asking! The tile came from Best Tile in Durham, NC. It's their Bar Harbor series in the hex in the gray color. https://besttile.com/tile-collections/trending-looks/bar-harbor
