I have been in customer service related work for over 35 years so I have pretty high standards and, without hesitation, I was very impressed with everyone I have dealt with at Fichtner Services. From Shane on the estimate/proposal, then Teresa and Tara getting all the necessary paperwork and scheduling in order, followed by Ray, Jeppe (sp?) and the entire installation team on the actual job - all were thoughtful, patient, informative, and professional, ensuring we had an enjoyable experience. I know the job was somewhat complicated by how our home is situated - very close neighboring homes and lots of landscaping - but the installation team did a great job protecting our property and getting the job done in just one LONG day for them under tough weather conditions. They were on time for their estimating appointment and for the actual work. Their estimator did a good job thinking through some extra work that would be needed where we were removing some leaking skylights. Their on-site supervisor and crew worked with me to frame the openings from the removed skylights so I could finish the interior work and consulted me about some rotted plywood that needed to be replaced before they did the work. So it was natural for us to get an estimate from Fichtner when the time came for a new roof. They provided a very detailed assessment and cost breakdown for the roof and blown in insulation as well as some customized work we needed. They were highly competitive with other estimates we had. Fichtner began and completed the work quickly and were very strong on communications before, during and after the job. Throughout all parts of the effort, their on-site project manager excelled at managing the details in full alignment with what was discussed during the assessment and estimate.
