## Community Q&A

**Q: Pot Filler Placement** *(in Design Dilemma)*

What is the best way to determine the placement of a pot filler?

A: tedbixby...A lot of the water will steam out so that I can lift it.  But I do sometimes have to use a plastic pitcher to dip into my big pot to empty some of the water so that I can lift the rest.  I have a raised garden bed "U" shaped that makes it easy and fun to garden.  I am all about convenience, plus I have a back injury and refuse to not do what I love, so I have thought of ways to make it easy for me. Thanks for asking.

**Q: Need help with my living room!  transitional look, keeping rug** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My living room does not feel finished.  The pieces are thrown together from our previous homes and family.  How can I update it so it looks more transitional and put together.  I love the rug and the wall paint colors.  please help me figure out what furniture I need, in what formation or layout and colors.

A: The rug has potential.  But truthfully and since you did post asking for suggestions.  The sofas are the items that are really holding you back.  If they have sentimental value, could you put them in a bonus room or somewhere else for the family to use.  Or donate them for another family to love.  You really need to get sofas with a lighter color.  Lydia has some great pics posted above.  If this is not possible, let us know so we can go in a different direction.  Re-upholstering is almost or more pricey than just buying new.  But if money is no object and you love your current sofa design then that is a possible solution.   Hope that helps.
