> Levco will overcharge you. Shop around for quotes.

> I needed a minor bathroom remodel (basically replace my current bath tub with a deeper, nicer tub). There were some tile concerns so it wasn’t a 100% straight forward job. For the bathroom specifically, Levco quoted me 15-18k for the work. This immediately squashed any intent to get the work done - it was simply too much money to justify for a new bathtub.

> Eventually I decided to get some other quotes from other companies in Boise. I received 5 quotes total. Every single quote, with all the same concerns Levco brought up, landed between 2k-4K. I couldn’t believe it! When I told them about the 15-18k quote Levco gave me each company was shocked. They said there was just no way in any worst case scenario it could possibly cost that much. I picked a company and they did an amazing job on my bathroom. I love my new bathtub and new tile! The cost? 3k.

> We started working with Joe in 2017 on an addition to our older North End home as well as a possible ADU above the garage.  He gave us an estimate on both, which was within our budget, so we proceeded through the first step of his process.  This step cost money (understandable, there is labor on his end) but we were assured that even if we elected not to go with Levco we'd have drawings that would could take to other builders.

> My first complaint is the time it took, we waited months without updates or returned emails.  There were sporadic periods of work and his team was personable and seemed knowledgeable (this would be a one star review without his team, they were mostly good people to work with), but it was just endless.  I finally got fed up after 6 or so months and demanded the drawings we paid for.  A couple weeks later we received them alongside an updated estimate, which was almost 3x the original number.  At that point we decided not to continue with Levco for the project.

> My second complaint was the documents provided, they looked a bit light but we took them to a few other contractors to get more input and bids on the project.  All of them expressed concern with the drawings, they're very simple and not usable for construction, meaning we need to have them redone by whoever ends up doing the construction.  That was a pretty upsetting realization.

> I understand the current construction climate and frankly I think we were a small potatoes project that was a low priority, getting small bits of progress as time allowed.  Maybe the team decided it wasn't worth it and gave us sub-par drawings and a high bid to dissuade us, I'm not sure, but if that was the plan it definitely worked.  Lesson learned, it was an expensive one, but hopefully this review will help others avoid the same issues.

> Not happy with the way things have held up after they redid our flooring and some parts of our kitchen on an insurance remodel due to a flood. The linoleum is peeling up due to poorly chosen splicing in high traffic areas, the underlayment has staples backing out the cabinets were set incorrectly and sinking below the where the backslash sits causing caulk and grout to seperate. Before the flood all the items that were addressed lasted over 15 years. Here we are 8 years later and every thing is needed addressed again.
