The owners wished to update and renovate the existing spaces and create generous new kitchen and living spaces that were respectful to, and balanced with the original ‘T’ shaped building. The design steps back all new components from the front façade while further minimizing their presence with lower roof lines and landscaping.

We love the look of the paneling on the back. Is that all one piece? Is it a beadboard?  Thanks so much. Beautiful work!

A: These are individual boards about 6-7" high capped with a beaded rail and cap moulding.

**Q: What type of stone or tile is that on the patio** *(in Photo Questions)*

What type of stone is that on the patio ?

A: bluestone pavers with handmake brick edging and 2" flamed edge bluestone treads

What is the diameter of the columns on the lower third?  Looks like either 14" or 16".  Thanks!!

A: approximately 18' wide x 25' deep, not including the changing rooms to the pool house spaces to the left.

**Q: Did you install the balusters upside down on purpose?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: They are installed in the correct orientation. However, we would recommend trimming the top block to fit the railing rather than the bottom.  This design uses a single custom turning, one option is to have 3 custom turnings at a much higher cost.
